I arrived in Marseillaises this afternoon to a rented loft already heated with sweating riders and exhausted agents from Paris. They bear... interesting... dispatches.

I am leaving for Paris in the morning. I expect to find there accommodations for myself and my entourage. I will be meeting with my Dutch counterpart, and expect no interruptions. I do hope to see a great many men looking for employment as is typical after the end of a war. If I do not see this, I will be forced to assume that the French are gluttonously expecting war to feed the coffers of their businessmen and high command.

I was going to try to convince your lordship of how convinient would be for britain and the King to consider an armistice and a dialog between our nations...but after the your disgracefull perfomance as Calais...
