Yes....... Went to go see Harry Potter on Sunday night (only cause Jarhead was on much later and memoirs of a Geisha was sold out) not bad, but not really that great, lost interest in it now to be honest...... Still haven't read the latest book, anyone find it good?

The latest book was quite good, but I felt there were some mistakes. Dumbledore is a bit arrogant in this book, blantently rubbing the fact that he's a better wizard in to Harry. Also, at the end, someone dies, and JK Rowling says they were upset that they couold never see him again, but this is stupid as they can talk to that dead person's portrait. dry.gif

On topic-the film was good, but it was not amazing. Personally, I think it would have been nothing without the CG.

Yeah, the film didn't really bring anything much that was new to the story, it just visualised the book, which was fine, but I expected more, from this film...

The dude who plays the new doctor who sure gets around a bit, he seems to be in loadsa things nowadays.....

I think the harry potter series has lost the magic it once had (oh what a good pun) It used to be fun, but now it seems to be too long and intertwining, not what i started reading it for.....

Oh yeah btw, the actor who played batman in batman begins, is he christian eccleston, or christian bale?? I've seen him being called both, but it may just be me being stupid.

Pirates of the caribbean rules! The second film made as much in the first 3 weeks as the first one did in the first six months!! I won't ruin the plot, but i'll say that there is a death/dissapearance of a main character! definately a film to go see, though the plot is a bit confusing at times, as there are three different people wanting the same thing for different reasons, which gets developed, but way cool...... smile.gif

Thanks for that, blonde moment smile.gif

Has anyone seen Poseidon btw? The biggest waste of time and money I have ever spent, too cliche, the whole survival in a ship thing.....

Hmm films what are teh rock.

The matrix
Pirates of the Carribean (yarrrrr)
Dodgeball
Anchorman
Anger management
Donnie Darko
Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy grail
Probably some others but they're all comedies and you get the idea

I don't really hate all that many movies, some weren't worth the time and effort of seeing, but really the work that is put into any film should grant it the right to exist with fair criticism, simply because it managed to exist, many movies have never got that far.

no particular favorite actors, i do think vince vaughn is pretty funny guy, and johny depp gets a special mention because he is so amazingly talented, he completely becomes the character he is in the movie for, be honest, how far would charlie and the chocolate factory have gotten without him? Also, he's a pretty damned good voice actor tongue.gif and tim burtons love slave.

Actors i dislike, Uma thurman, she's not pretty and she is not talented, why the hell does she keep getting parts in movies?
Tom Cruise, the mans ego has its own dressing room, simple as that.
and just about any old woman who gets roles playing the mother of teenagers, admit you're old and that your career is over!

Pass on TV, I don't watch it anymore, as far as i can tell it is all reality shows, shopping/selling/auctioning and home improvement, and plenty of drama.... joy.
I watch the internet instead, more channels, better shows

They cut out WINKY THE HOUSEELF. HOW CAN YOU CUT OUT WINKY, SHE IS LIKE MY MUM. My mum believes she is Winky. Winky owns no matter what anybody says. I've lost interest with Harry Potter, I more interested in Anne Rice stuffs at the moment.

Cause in the end, We're just reborn again, You wanna rock, And nothing's gonna make you stop, And nothing's gonna break you up, Everybody knows you're lost, In the night time, honey, Lost Boys! (69Eyes)

Black house will rock, blind boys don't lie, Immortal fear, that voice so clear,Through broken walls, that scream I hear.
Cry, little sister - Thou shall not fall. Come to your brother - Thou shall not die. Unchain me, sister - Thou shall not fear. Love is with your brother... (Mcmann)
