It's a 1959 li 125 series 2.Originally from Italy,so has never been registered here,so I am thinking they might issue me a new reg rather than an age related, which I would rather off had. dry.gif

Can you register it threw Swansea? It will get an English plate but will be correct for the age.

I have never seen an old car registered threw Coleraine that has got an age related plate. NI plates are not considered to have any reflection on the age of the car, so they tend to give you the next one out of the system. On the mainland however it would be illegal for them to issue a plate that is 'newer' than the car it is going on.

That is something I have considered,But I know when I went to get the new style tax book for the anglia, they made me take it to be inspected before they would give me one, even though I had the original Northern Ireland paper one..If they asked me to talk it to a local one in england I might be stuck sad.gif sad.gif sad.gif

That's right,I think the only way I can get an age related plate here is to buy one.dry.gif dry.gif dry.gif
