I was talking to Courage Link a little while ago (I'm on lunch right now), and he doesn't believe me when I tell him that with the Wii you can download old Nintendo games for free. Please guys, back me up on that. He's telling me to do more research, and he doesn't seem to believe me when I tell him 120 FRICKIN TIMES that I have, and I've talked to Wii owners. Well, now, assuming you guys can back me up I'll have proof.

He doesn't seem to believe you can download anything past the NES. He says you can't download anything else, including Gameboys.

i think it's monthly, but i'm not sure...you buy a download license, and that allows you to download...try the Nintendo website to check for information, they have everything on it

You're talking 'bout the Virtual Console yeah? You have to buy the games with Wii Points bought at shops (I won't go into detail on prices of them, though). As for what you can download, anything from the NES, SNES, N64, Mega Drive and Turbo-Grafx once Nintendo release it. Nothing from Gameboys, though.

Oh, then that's helpful. Anyway, I see no point in keeping this thread open now that my question has been answered, but I do have to wonder how Nintendo got ahead of one of Sega's consoles...oh well, I don't even really care anyway.

If anyone wants this thread reopened, PM me or one of the mods.
