Wont, start

Right I know you are all going to laugh at me but washed the Lammy & now it won,t start.

Changed spark plug checked wiring and dryed them out.
Do I need to change the electric start or is it to do with the carb?
Please help

What do you mean by electric start?? When you say washed, did you remove the panels? Have you sucked anything into the carb. Try it again tomorrow,maybe replace the plug and cap.

Not done owt with the carb yet but i washed it over a week ago so it should be dryed out by now.

have you tried takeing all the wires out of the coil and drying them also take ht lead out and dry that take the surpressor cap off the ht lead.try taking headset top off water did get past my speedo and straight on to ignition and electrics try drying them with malices hair dryer

First things first, check for a spark, should eliminate the electrics if you have one.

i went up to have a look at this lammy on sunday changed ht lead/coil/cap/plug checked all wires/and electrics in head set top i cud hold end of ht lead and kick it over nothing. im now thinking stator plate/cdi unit.help anybody

before ya do anythin' drastic, try pullin' out one of the green wires from the cdi unit.if ya get a spark, it means ya'v gora dodgy ignition switch.p.s. theres been no mention of wd40, the lammy owners #1 tool

could be a dodgy ignition switch.Try pullin' one of the green wires out of cdi unit, then kick over engine with the plug out, if you get a spark, sorted
