As opposed to...

johnny139 - February 18, 2010 05:38 AM (GMT)
OH!

MY!

GOD!

This is... this is horrible.

What destruction have I brough unto the world!?

Crossburn - February 18, 2010 11:01 AM (GMT)
Absolutely none.

CRAZ destroyed the world I struggled to create.

Pokefreak113 - February 18, 2010 12:52 PM (GMT)
I just sat in the corner and cried.

Crossburn - February 18, 2010 08:39 PM (GMT)
The world is destroyed. There are NO corners.

DestinyGuy - February 18, 2010 10:01 PM (GMT)
Then how are we discussing this?

Crossburn - February 18, 2010 10:03 PM (GMT)
The Internet is a separate dimension.

DestinyGuy - February 18, 2010 10:04 PM (GMT)
Yes, but how do we still exist? Or are we just data now?

Crossburn - February 18, 2010 10:06 PM (GMT)
How do I knew YOU exist? Perhaps you were data from the very beginning.

DestinyGuy - February 18, 2010 10:07 PM (GMT)
If I was, I would never admit it.

Crossburn - February 18, 2010 10:09 PM (GMT)
And the same here. So, let's just assume the world has ended and all humans are now data.

DestinyGuy - February 18, 2010 10:10 PM (GMT)
The world is the same as I have ever remembered it. Even if I am data, I have no reason to believe the world has been destroyed.

Crossburn - February 18, 2010 10:13 PM (GMT)
Indeed. It makes no difference to us all, the data people who have always been on the internet and never had a physical form on the destroyed planet Earth.

DestinyGuy - February 18, 2010 10:15 PM (GMT)
Speculation about the past is pointless, since we do not know if our memories or each other are real or data.

Crossburn - February 18, 2010 10:17 PM (GMT)
Yes, only the creator knows for sure.

Oh wait... he had a physical form on Earth...

Ah, no matter. With him gone and no one to manipulate our data, we can be sure that every memory from now on is true.

DestinyGuy - February 18, 2010 10:19 PM (GMT)
In my now infinite free time, I have speculated that the world has not been destroyed because if we are data, we must still be stored on physical servers.

Pokefreak113 - February 18, 2010 10:53 PM (GMT)
This is what happens when two Persona fans are left alone.

Crossburn - February 18, 2010 11:56 PM (GMT)
That may also be a false memory implanted within you! These 'physical servers' may perhaps be merely gateways, or rather, lenses for the people of the real world to establish contact with ours!

Now that these 'servers' are destroyed, it merely means that we have lost contact with the physical world.

Pokefreak113 - February 19, 2010 12:28 AM (GMT)
Ok, I might be retarded, but that made no sense.

DestinyGuy - February 19, 2010 05:42 AM (GMT)
Yes it did. If the world was in fact destroyed and we are in fact data, both merely speculations for now, then perhaps we did not exist within physical servers but merely had access to the physical world through them. With their destruction, we are now trapped within the digital, which is a perfect simulation of the physical world we understand as reality.

And I fail to see what this has to do with persona.

Crossburn - February 19, 2010 09:14 AM (GMT)
In P4, they jump into TVs. Wide screen plasma TVs to be exact.

Pokefreak113 - February 19, 2010 12:36 PM (GMT)
I was just making fun of the nerdiness of JRPGs, but that works better.

Crossburn - February 19, 2010 02:31 PM (GMT)
I loved how he stuck his head into the TV and said, "Hey, it's spacious in here!"

Well, it was implied.

DestinyGuy - February 19, 2010 05:46 PM (GMT)
What do you mean, spacious?! This is all too much for my bladder!

Voted best game quotes of all time.

Crossburn - February 22, 2010 03:08 AM (GMT)
And Teddy... oh yeah, Teddy...

When he took the suit off in the real world, even my jaw dropped. And when he entered the cross-dressing competition, more jawdrop!

DestinyGuy - February 22, 2010 03:22 AM (GMT)
The scene where Yosuke steals Kanji's animal crackers.

And Teddie = new Junpei, seriously.
