So true. I agree fully on #4, that would get old fast. But I felt #3 and #2 were a bit biased, I mean quickly switching from the TV to the controller seems edgy and adds to the horror tension, not to hinder the play experience.

WHAT Cheese come on #2 is the single best part of Zombi U, real-time menu searching and all that. Never safe.

The only reasons I agree with are #1 and #2. Everything else is either false, or completely subjective. If anything, Miiverse should have NO censorship.

Miiverse is confirmed to be screened - every public post you make will go through Nintendo employees.

I guess I won't be drawing as many penises as planned.

Fortunately for humanity, those who really did intend to, as well as the trolls delighting in telling fans "Darth Vader is Luke's father" before they reach the end (true story) will be stopped, at the cost of waiting for your comment to be posted. Unless this gets as big as, say, Facebook, if it manages to, expect the "censorship" to be gone quite fast when they realize the massive number of posts.

Someones a little angry in that article. ^ ^

CRAZ1ah - June 8, 2012 04:12 AM (GMT)
Well go on strike and put penises all over their database!

I didn't watch any E3 stuff so I'm absorbing everything as it comes, and I think a lot of these things mentioned in the article sound poorly executed. ZombiU looks fine though.

MasterofMonster - June 8, 2012 07:22 AM (GMT)
Looking back at it, Nintendo's E3 wasn't that bad. At least for me, personally. Too tired to make a long explonation.

However, E3 this year was overall bad, mainly cuz' we knew of 95% of the games shown. No big surprises. Well, a few, but much fewer than usual. And Ninty had no big surprise at all. ._.

Apparantly, from what I just read, Nintendo WAS gonna reveal a new big game. Retro's game, apparantly. But in the last minute, Retro decided it wasn't ready. Sigh...

I agree with some opf the points in the article but yeah he's a bit subjective.

pikaby - June 8, 2012 02:24 PM (GMT)
I loled at his emphasis on dicks at #5 and #4. This made me not want to take him seriously, those two issues can be solved pretty easily by not making yourself sound like a dick on Miiverse. You can be a dick everywhere else, why does one censored area get you pissed off like that?

#3 doesn't apply because I don't own PS360. #2 and #1 are valid points, though I'm a bit shaky at #1 like he's pushing skepticism a little too far.

Haveing to wait for all of your drawings to be approved is stupid though.

EggBeatr8 - June 8, 2012 05:49 PM (GMT)
My question is...why would anyone want to read all those text bubbles anyway? There's bound to be at least a 1,000 at a time.

They could limit it to, you know, only the newest ones showing up on the screen, and if you want to see em all you have to search for a particular person.....

....okay that was a stupid idea.

But still I don't think anyone's friend lists can get so large as to clog up the whole screen with notifications.

The whole releasing older games, like Arkham City is a stupid argument. If anything, it just proves the Wii U can release good third party games. I can understand Mass Effect though, seeing as the game is pointless without having played Mass Effect 1 and 2.

If there's one thing I'm hoping doesn't become an issue, is the chat monitoring thing. Of course, it's just wishful thinking on my part, but who knows? Maybe monitoring thousands of texts will become too much bitter work for Nintendo, and they'll abandon censorship altogether. I dunno.

pikaby - June 11, 2012 02:43 PM (GMT)
Chat monitoring can be solved by using friend lists so you don't see stupid messages sent by anyone else. The only things that should be moderated are the forum messages, making for a lighter workload.
