Title: Guess what other console is selling more than Vita

http://mynintendonews.com/2012/04/27/wii-o...-vita-in-europe...Wii. In Europe, where Vita is supposed to be the top-selling console.

| It should also be noted that the PSP is outselling the PlayStation Vita in Europe. |
lol

Is there ANYTHING new?
I must admit it took too long for Europe to realize how utter sh*t Vita is

^Indeed
I feel bad for feeling good it failed.

What I'm surprised at is that Sony still isn't making any effort to up their game even after such a long running time of Vita failure. It's not like they have a crisis on the other things they're selling?

Ninty is like the school bully of the gaming industry that beats up new kids and takes their money. :P

Except Sony actually put up a good fight unlike so many others who have failed in the past.
They really need to find out what's wrong with Vita and fix it though. Nintendo sucked up their pride and admitted 3DS wasn't doing so hot in the first 6 months, why can't Sony?

I think as of right now, it's just a matter of price. The 3DS didn't do too well at first because it was deemed too expensive by most people. Then they dropped the price, and all the games came out for it. The Vita isn't necessarily cheap either, and add the lack of attention grabbing games for it right now.

Most systems with a high price tag tend to not sell that well initially. Give it some time, and I think the Vita will start flying off shelves faster after a price drop or two.

I personally don't think the Vita's going to sell good even with the price drop. I think we'll have another psp go, with the Vita selling more than the go, but still much less than they'll be hoping for.

I don't think a price drop will happen anytime soon for the Vita. But I do hope games start to come out for it soon.

PSP Go was a terrible, unneeded spinoff console of PSP, whereas this one is its successor. I wouldn't think Vita would sink to such an extreme low.
EggBeatr8 - April 30, 2012 08:23 PM (GMT)
PSP GO was the most retarded idea ever, even for Sony. It's like a car company releasing an expensive flying car that only rises two inches off the ground.
But anyway, as soon as the Vita gets some more prominent 3rd party support it will start to sell more. You know how people are: as soon as some big release title comes out they just HAVE to buy it. They just need to convince people that this is a must have handheld console - and at this point it's just some new high-tech-hipster-fad-doesn't-play-nintendo-games-brick-thing to people
