Title: Sting + Idea Factory = ....

Super Sting! Each company in the merger has an equal stake and they're working together on a fantasy RPG

...I'm listening.

Zekira - March 23, 2012 04:12 AM (GMT)
Oh my god.

OH MY GOD.

CRAZ1ah - March 23, 2012 12:17 PM (GMT)
Interesting. Will keep in view.

TheFreakyManga - March 23, 2012 03:17 PM (GMT)
Will keep in view. X2

EggBeatr8 - March 23, 2012 04:12 PM (GMT)
Never played any of the companies' games.

DG - March 23, 2012 05:20 PM (GMT)
KitN should be required gaming for everyone.

johnny139 - March 23, 2012 08:33 PM (GMT)
I don't even know who they are.

anongos - March 27, 2012 06:47 AM (GMT)
Kinda late to the news here, but I am extremely interested.

toadster101 - March 27, 2012 10:56 PM (GMT)
I knew DG would care. I certainly don't.

DG - March 27, 2012 11:28 PM (GMT)
I'm certain I have no idea what you're talking about, I am not obsessed with Sting's immaculately mediocre games or anything.

This. This indeed. The ending is garbage and totally destroys all the motivation you had to play the game to the end, but it was soooo totally worth it. I haven't seen a game being this creative in years.

If only I had more motivation to actually play it.

I played it for maybe an hour or so but for some reason my body didn't want it...

anongos - March 28, 2012 05:45 PM (GMT)
I should do a no recruit run of that game someday. I heard it's more fun that way instead of being OCD about getting all the key items.

DG - March 29, 2012 01:57 AM (GMT)
Sting has a really bad habit of making you play all their games that way if you want to get the majority of the content, which is incredibly obnoxious. Their design philosophy is really antiquated. It is the primary glaring flaw in ALL of their games. And yet, somehow, they are just a REDICULOUSLY creative team.

There is no other game like KitN in existence. It is a completely unique experience.

pikaby - March 29, 2012 02:19 PM (GMT)
I especially hated the Chapter 22.5 bullsh*t. It is absolutely impossible to find without a guide of some sort, and the game provides no hint as to where it is.

DG - March 29, 2012 03:32 PM (GMT)
I have tried that so many times without actually getting the thing. I love the Dept. Heaven universe but I just don't have patience for that mechanic.

Crossburn - March 29, 2012 03:37 PM (GMT)
Interesting, but I doubt I'll have a console to play their games :(

DG - March 29, 2012 03:47 PM (GMT)
Yeah Sting has been busy making PSP ports recently so I don't think I will either.

A huge reason why I take so long to finish their games. I feel that when I'm playing their games, I need to get all the key items. So I pretty much never play them unless I'm sitting in front of my computer with a guide open.

But yeah, they are very creative.

You do have a DS though, so you can try looking into KiTN. You will not regret it, even though it's a real soul-sucker.

DG - March 30, 2012 04:03 PM (GMT)
GET IT? SOUL SUCKER?

EH?

EH?

EggBeatr8 - March 30, 2012 04:44 PM (GMT)
Bah, you guys and you're abbreviations, it took me hours to realize you were talking about Knights into the Nightmare. :P

Always wanted to play it, but it's at the end of my to play list.

DG - March 30, 2012 10:34 PM (GMT)
Well, put it at the beginning of your to play list, ya dingus.

I only use it because it abbreviates to kitten so nicely.

EggBeatr8 - March 30, 2012 11:56 PM (GMT)
Meow :3
