Nintendo can spend that money to make a high-end console, sure, but would you want to buy it? We all saw what happened to the 3DS when it launched at $250.

And the controller HAS a HD screen. Or, definitely a screen that's better than my craptastic CRT TV. I'm not complaining because I've never had high standards when it comes to these things.
