Peter Parker is dead  , and a new spiderman whos name is Miles Morales, An african-american and hispanic teenager, Who (like Peter Parker) is a nerd. So lets see what he brings to the table In marvel comics(forgot the name of the specific comic).

toadster101 - August 4, 2011 07:00 PM (GMT)
My childhood has been ruined.

StickyHand - August 4, 2011 09:36 PM (GMT)
I see no wrong in this.

CRAZ1ah - August 4, 2011 10:44 PM (GMT)
I see a LOT of wrong in this. It's like killing Captain Falcon. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING STAN LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

johnny139 - August 4, 2011 11:22 PM (GMT)
A) Ultimate Spider-Man is dead. He's not the mainstream Spider-Man (who, at the moment, is a mystical being born from a cocoon who made a deal with the devil to erase his marriage and bring his aunt back from the dead).

B) Ultimate Marvel kills off people all the time. They had an event recently (Ultimatum) where like 40% of their characters died.

C) Yeah he's black, it's pretty coold.

D) Stan Lee hasn't written Spider-Man in like forty years and doesn't even work at Marvel anymore.

Did you mean cool or cold? If you meant cold then your a racist dick. Also he part hispanic.

johnny139 - August 5, 2011 05:20 AM (GMT)
Cool, though I suppose he's probably pretty cold too, I mean he is a nerd.

(Also being racist dicks is like at least 5% of this forum's humor source.)

We here at N5S transcend racial, sexual, religious and whatever 'sensitive' barriers modern society has set. We bash anyone and everyone, from black to white, from Christians to atheists, from gays to straights. We bash ourselves, even. I see no difference from bashing an entire set of people.

Do you feel more insulted when I bash your race or religion, or do you feel more insulted when I bash specifically you?

Why are you even insulted anyway? Anger is just a primitive response towards loss or expected loss, triggered by the limbic system (the ancient part) of the brain. It only seems more complex or justified because you rationalise it post-anger. You feel insulted because you consciously or subconsciously think that the statement has or may have taken something from you, that what was said to you may have some truth to it.

You automatically associate 'black' and any insult made by strangers as derogatory racism because your thoughts have been programmed to skip the extra phases of processing information. Black people used to be prejudiced and treated as a lower class of people, but with modern human rights to equality, such treatment has been deemed 'wrong'. While the act seems to have put an end to discrimination as 'right and natural', it has actually only redefined it as 'wrong and unethical', thus turning anyone who makes any racist comments, even in jest, immoral and offensive, and should be frowned upon by society, beaten senseless and lectured for hours until they change their ways.

What that ends up doing is STILL putting the blacks as a lower class whose rights need to be protected by the 'non-racist' people, and adding an extra lower class of 'racist people' to compensate, basically changing the graph from:

Non-black race: 100 points; Black: 0 points
to
Non-black race: 100 points; Black: 50 points; Racist people: 50 points

It's still a 100-point difference.

Just break down your thoughts a bit, break out of society's norm and chill, kiddo. We're here to have fun.

Wat the fuq?!!?

Well at least we'll get some interesting new Spiderman memes out of this.

pikaby - August 5, 2011 03:55 PM (GMT)
Nah, nothing can replicate the dumb poses of the 60s.

johnny139 - August 5, 2011 08:29 PM (GMT)
Yeah the new guy will probably end up being boring to avoid making any waves.

Pokefreak113 - August 5, 2011 09:17 PM (GMT)
My last name is Parker.

I am hurt by his death. His replacement? Sure, why not.

toadster101 - August 6, 2011 05:52 AM (GMT)
A black superhero? Sounds like an oxymoron. JUST KIDDING BRUV BLADE WAS AWESOME.

EggBeatr8 - August 6, 2011 02:17 PM (GMT)
Don't forget Cyborg.

Hank Henshaw/Cyborg Superman/The Cyborg/Yellow Lantern/Alpha-Prime is stone cold badass.

But he's not as cool as Steel!

Who, coincidentally, is also black!

But, unfortunately, is also Shaq.

I meant Cyborg from Teen Titans.

johnny139 - August 7, 2011 12:53 AM (GMT)
Cyborg Superman > Cyborg > the Borg.

MasterofMonster - December 11, 2011 11:21 PM (GMT)

MasterofMonster - December 12, 2011 12:01 AM (GMT)
^ Err... huh? I mean... yeah! That's it! Good for you, Crazy! *pat, pat*

EggBeatr8 - December 13, 2011 02:45 PM (GMT)
The movie reboot can't be any worse than Spiderman 3.

johnny139 - December 13, 2011 05:07 PM (GMT)
Oh yes it can!

I probably won't be.

But it could be.

MasterofMonster - December 13, 2011 07:43 PM (GMT)
Spiderman 3 wasn't That bad... well, it was Bad, but not bad enough to not be enjoyable. ^^
It annoyed me, though, that that Black Spider-Monster Guy (forgot his name) didn't have that Badass tounge he should have.

johnny139 - December 13, 2011 09:16 PM (GMT)
That's true, too much wimpy Eddie Brock face and not enough freaky Venom face.

MasterofMonster - December 13, 2011 09:25 PM (GMT)
^ Right, Venom, thank you! ^^ And that is very true. I expected it to be badass, but... it was kinda lame. -.-"

EggBeatr8 - December 14, 2011 06:32 PM (GMT)
AND VENOM HAS MUSCLES!!!

WHERE WERE DA THE MUSCLES?!?!!?

MasterofMonster - December 15, 2011 03:36 PM (GMT)
Is this... like... canon? O_o

VENOM SMASH!

johnny139 - December 15, 2011 05:48 PM (GMT)
Nah, that's Marvel Adventures, Eddie Brock isn't Venom any more. It's Flash Thompson now and he's a good guy mostly.

MasterofMonster - December 15, 2011 09:29 PM (GMT)
^ Wait, that's Venom, too?!

Well, tbh, i know barely nothing about Venom. I thought it was a mutated spider-monster or something. ^^"

johnny139 - December 15, 2011 10:34 PM (GMT)
The Venom symbiote is an alien. It makes whoever it possesses stronger and, because of its time spent with Spider-Man, copies his spider powers to them. It looks like whoever it bonds with.

^ Oh, really? That's cool. I actually like him now~ XD

Though, lol, it doesn't fit very well as a little girl~ ^3^

EggBeatr8 - December 15, 2011 11:24 PM (GMT)
At least Spiderman 3 got the origin right. The rest of the movie was meh.

johnny139 - December 15, 2011 11:32 PM (GMT)
HA no it didn't, the Venom symbiote bonded with Spider-Man on Battleworld during the Secret Wars when Spider-Man and the other major players of the Marvel universe were brought together for the Beyonder's personal amusement and to boost action figure sales. Spidey brought it back to Earth, eventually he realized it was trying to take over his body, and he tore it off while some stranger he'd never even met named Eddie Brock happened to be nearby.

Originally Venom was supposed to be a pregnant woman whose husband got run over by a driver distracted by Spider-Man and she lost her baby and went crazy. Brock really had no motive - all of his problems were his own fault - and it would have made a TON more sense that way.

CRAZ1ah - December 16, 2011 12:04 PM (GMT)
:O

johnny139 - December 16, 2011 08:34 PM (GMT)
I know right? She-Venom would have been an awesome idea. They did it eventually but she suuuuucked.

EggBeatr8 - December 17, 2011 12:30 AM (GMT)

MasterofMonster - December 17, 2011 01:26 AM (GMT)
^ Hmm, nope, don't like it/her at all... Venom should stay male. ^^

Speaking of that, isn't there, like, Spiderwoman, too? I think i saw some Comics of that sometime..
