Super Mario Brothers: Clan of Notorious Villains

Prologue:
The Mushroom Kingdom was in chaos. Fire could be seen in every corner, smoke had consumed the evening sky. Bowser was marching through the Kingdom, his destination; Peach’s Castle. Everything that got in his way was fried. A fleet of super koopa had been treading behind him, with Wendy on his right, and Kamek and Kammy magikoopa on his left. Bowser looked to his right, an innocent toad was trying to get inside his house, but it seemed to be locked. Bowser picked up his wand, which was previously Kamella’s, and shot a laser at the toad, disintegrating him instantly. “These puny creatures are becoming a nuisance.” Bowser yelled. “They’re just ants master; there is no need to become frustrated with them.” Wendy replied cynically. “They are slowing me down, I am the king of this world; they should be bowing at my feet.” Bowser said. “We are only here to get the princess, and here is the castle now” Kammy said, trying to calm Bowser down.

They finally reached the castle; it was still partly in ruins from the plane crash; but it seemed somewhat rebuilt. “Troops, surround the castle, I will go in, alone.” Bowser ordered. “Alone? Bowser are you sure that’s a good idea?” Kamek asked. “With this wand I am all powerful, I fear no one, not even Mario.” Bowser replied. Bowser then stormed into the castle, using his wand to destroy the door in front of him. He anticipated a trap, but there was no one in sight. Bowser looked into the darkness confused “Come out you filthy creatures!” he yelled. But there was no response. Enraged, Bowser used his wand to light up the room, still seeing emptiness. “Arggg” He yelled. Bowser ran through the castle destroying things with his wand on his way trying to look for any sight of the princess, or Mario. As he reached a hallway he saw something, it seemed to be the back of a pink dress. “Peach! Muahaha!” Bowser said as he ran to catch up to her.

He chased her all to the roof. He looked at her and called her name, but there was no response, she was just standing there, looking into the sky. But then Bowser realized something, she looked different than before. She had shorter, lighter hair, and her crown was silver. “Who are you? Tell me who you are.” Bowser demanded. The woman turned around, she was glistening in the moonlight. She was wearing a pink dress, it cut off the shoulders, and it had long flowing sleeves. “I’m Rosalina, you must remember me. I’m your worst nightmare.” Rosalina said coyly. “I have an army with me, your no match!” Bowser replied. Rosalina began to laugh “You think you’re going to take over this galaxy? Just because you’re terrorizing this small world doesn’t mean you have the power to face the universe.” Rosalina replied. Bowser was shocked; he couldn’t believe she was foolish enough to face him. “Then let’s settle this now!” Bowser replied.

Rosalina looked at him, and in an instant she had transported herself to his side and summoned an energy field to knock him off his feet. Bowser got up quickly, and with only a second to reply sent a laser at Rosalina’s feet, melting the ground under her. But she was too quick, and she used her wand to transport her away from the hole. “This is just a warm up doll, now you’ll witness my true power!” Bowser yelled. Bowser used his wand to make himself grow. Rosalina looked at him and shook her head. She then copied his act and became huge herself. The weight that had been put on the roof made it collapse; the two began to fall to the ground. But they both transported themselves outside of the castle, but the sheer force of their transports combusted the castle.

Bowser’s army began to react, but then, in the sky, a light appeared, as it got closer it revealed to be over a thousand lumas. Which held off his army as he and Rosalina still sparred. The Mushroom Kingdom was being decimated, and no side had the advantage. But Bowser had a plan; he could see Rosalina’s star station in the sky. He used his wand to pull the station closer, intending to set it on a crash course, with all Rosalina’s precious Luma victim. “What do you think you’re doing?” Rosalina yelled as she tried to stop him. But she would be too late. “Surrender yourself, or all your lumas will die a gruesome death.” Bowser replied. Rosalina saw the evil in his eyes, she couldn’t take such a risk, all of her family would be dead, and the station was going to get the ground any second. “Fine! Stop now! I surrender!” Rosalina yelled. Bowser smiled and set the station back into the sky. He then used his wand to shrink Rosalina and himself to normal size. “You see, it wasn’t that hard” Bowser said laughing. “I surrendered, let us go freely!” Rosalina cried out. “Thank you for that, but I can’t let that happen!” Bowser replied. He used his wand to freeze Rosalina, and all of her lumas. “Take them away, the princess isn’t here.” Bowser ordered as he summoned his clown hovercraft, and he flew into the horizon.


Chapter 1: vengeance:
Daisy heard the motorcycles in the distance. She ran to the window to see Mario, Wario, and Waluigi riding back to her castle. They were all hiding out in Sarasaland, trying to prepare an army to counter Bowser’s. But every attempt to fight him had failed. Mario led a team across the land, trying to find survivors. But he usually came up empty handed. “Daisy! Come down stairs, I think Mario may have found someone.” Peach yelled from downstairs. Daisy walked across her room to the door. She noticed herself in the reflection and stopped for a moment. She was wearing a yellow shirt with a white flowerlike collar and her teal jewel on her chest, along with a yellow skirt and her yellow and orange tennis shoes. Her hair had gotten longer as well, it was styled in pigtails. Daisy looked at herself apathetically; she was full of sorrow and pain, but she needed to stay strong for everyone. So she continued downstairs to meet Peach. “Daisy, there you are. It looks like Mario has someone on his bike, hopefully it’s someone useful.” Peach said. Daisy agreed and sat down, looking out the window. “Are you okay?” Peach asked. Daisy didn’t respond so Peach continued “I know how you’re feeling, I lost my entire kingdom, and I’ve heard no word from Toadsworth. It hurts so much, but we have to fight, for them.”. “I loved him Peach, and I couldn’t save him.” Daisy responded. Peach walked over to her and hugged her, trying to comfort her the best she could.

Mario entered the castle with Wario, Waluigi, and his newly found guest behind him. Mario was ecstatic that he found someone that could help them and it was an old friend too. Mario walked into the kitchen to see Peach making coffee and Daisy sitting down eating a piece of toast. “Everyone, I am proud to introduce you to our new ally, Bombette.” Mario said. “Oh welcome Bombette, I’m glad to run into you again, I’m sure you can help us greatly.” Peach said happily. She continued “Wario, Waluigi, why don’t you show her to her room” Peach smiled as they walked Bombette upstairs. Mario walked up to Peach and whispered “Has Daisy been crying?”. Peach nodded “Maybe you two should talk about it.” Peach requested. Mario agreed and sat down next to Daisy, Peach exited to go change. She had a new dress that she wanted to wear for a long time. It was light blue with pink accents; it really complimented her eyes and her favorite color. Peach smiled and decided to look outside, making sure there was no trouble. Even though they have dozens of people surveying the castle at all times. But she was amazed at what she saw, it looked like a darkness was covering the sky, but it didn’t look like anything natural. “Mario! Come here!!!” Peach yelled as he and Daisy ran into the room. “Oh my god!” Mario yelled. “Get to cover!” Daisy screamed as ice crystals were smashed though the windows. Peach got a quick glimpse before she ran out of the room. “The ice crystals, they had lumas in them!” Peach yelled. Mario looked disappointed, “Then Rosalina has also failed, we have to retreat, we must go through the underground tunnels immediately!” Mario ordered.

Bowser was in a flying pirate ship above Sarasaland. “This is where the heroes have been hiding, my lord; Daisy’s castle.” Kamek said to Bowser. “I want it destroyed; I want the heroes to have no resources left!” Bowser ordered. Everyone agreed and Wendy led a team of super koopa to the castle, as Bowser shot Luma crystals at the castle from above.

Chapter 2: Survivors

One hour earlier. Three Luma were looking down at the Mushroom Kingdom from a star station. One was orange and named Shine, one was blue and named Luna, and one was pink and named Fushia. The Kingdom they were looking at was completely destroyed, fires consumed the land, buildings had collapsed, and all life seemed to be exterminated. They knew it had all been Bowser’s doing. He had invaded the land, he even captured their master Rosalina, and there Luma brothers. Even they had barely escaped with their lives; once Bowser had taken Rosalina prisoner they had cloaked the star station and went into space escaping his wrath.

“There has to be some sort of life out there. Someone must have escaped this genocide.” Luna said. “I’m scanning for life now, but I haven’t had any luck yet. Bowser sure did a number on this place.” Shine replied. “A travesty is what this is, this poor planet.” Fushia cried. Shine searched his scans restlessly. “Wait, I just saw some movement near the castle!” Shine exclaimed. “How do we know this isn’t a trap?” Luna asked. “I can’t know for sure, but I have a good feeling about this.” Shine replied. “We have to go check; if these creatures are friendly they can help us save Rosalina.” Fushia added in. Luna agreed and flew the station the where the scans showed movement.
It had been a miracle; the Luma had finally found some survivors. Luna turned off the cloaking device and landed near the castle, or whatever had been left of it. “Where did the scans sense movement?” Luna asked. “Right near that house.” Shine replied. The house had been small and the roof seemed to be partially caved in, but besides that it had been in decent shape. Luna signaled Shine to enter the home first, it had been a dump; debris was everywhere and most of the furniture was burnt. “I guess you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, this place is disgusting.” Fushia said repulsed. “Hmm. I smell something strange, follow me.” Shine said. The Luma had followed Shine to what seemed to be a closet, it had been very plain but one thing stood out, in the middle of the closet there was a square of floor that seemed to be sticking out. Shine lifted it and to his surprise opened a passage to a secret basement. “Well this is promising.” He said.
There seemed to be a very dim light deeper in the basement so the Luma went to check it out. “Hello? Is someone there?” Luna called out. “Hello! Hello! Who’s there?” A voice responded. Luna got the chills as he didn’t expect a response. The light then suddenly got brighter; the new found sight had revealed five persons sitting together. It had been Toadsworth, Toad, Toadette, Lady Bow, and Koopella. They had all been sitting around a makeshift fire. “Thank heavens! Survivors!” Fushia said ecstatically. Toadsworth jumped out of his seat and ran to hug the Luma. “If you are here that means Rosalina must be near! You are here to rescue us!” Toadsworth said cheerily. Luna didn’t want to interrupt his celebration but he had to. “I’m sorry but we aren’t here to rescue you, we were actually hoping you guys could help us. Rosalina has been captured, and we aren’t sure how to contact Mario….” Luna said. Toadsworth took a step back in disappointment. “So all hope is lost, without Mario and Rosalina there is no chance at stopping Bowser.” Toadsworth said. Lady Bow looked concerned and entered the conversation “I have fought with Mario before, I know he’s still out there somewhere, ready to fight!” she exclaimed. Luna nodded and then signaled Shine to get the star station powered up as he asked Toadsworth a few more questions.

Shine nodded his head and brought Fushia along with him. “I think we would have been better off without them.” Shine said smugly. Fushia shook her head as they exited the house and went to the star station, but Shine noticed something strange. “Hey, look at the communications deck, a light is flashing.” Shine said as he flew up to the deck. Fushia followed him immediately. “We haven’t gotten any signals on that thing since Rosalina was here!” Fushia yelled to Shine, who had already made it to the deck. Shine studied the flashing signal and decided to press it; all of a sudden a hologram appeared before them, it was Mario. “To anyone who can hear this, I am sorry I haven’t been in contact. If I had been we would have risked putting our location in danger; but I guess it doesn’t matter now because Bowser has found us. I know the receiver of this message will not be Rosalina, but I hope there is someone left running this station. I and a few others are traveling through underground tunnels and we will be exiting in the outskirts of the Mushroom Kingdom. I have sent our coordinates to your computer. Please if anyone is getting this message pick us up, before Bowser’s minions get to us first.” the message ended. Shine had a shocked look on his face. “Get the others quick, I’ll start this thing up!” Shine ordered to Fushia. “Without them we can’t save Rosalina, or this world!” he continued.

Fushia ran to get the others; they all entered the star station hoping they could find Mario and the others in time.


Chapter 3: The coordinates

The bright sun filled Daisy’s eyes as she exited the tunnels. She looked behind her to see everyone else coming closer to the outside. “Where are these Lumas?!” Daisy yelled. Mario looked worried as he reached Daisy, he had been certain there would be a rescue. “If they don’t get here in a minute then we need to go find cover, Bowser’s goons will be catching up to us in no time.” Mario said. Daisy looked up into the air and saw something in the distance. Whatever it was it seemed to be getting closer. “Is that our recue?” Daisy shouted as she pointed at the object. Mario stared at it for a moment, and noticed something peculiar. The one massive object in the distance got closer to reveal two flying objects in some sort of battle. “That’s our rescue, but I think it found an unexpected guest along the way!” Mario called out, as he stared into the sky.

The luma accepted they were in a fair amount of trouble. They had been ambushed on the way to pick up Mario and were now in a full out air fight. Luna made his way to the star station’s weaponry systems, trying to activate some sort of shield device. He was able to activate some defensive weapons but the station wasn’t built for battle, if they didn’t think of a plan quick they would all roast before they even got to Mario.

Meanwhile Shine and Fushia tried to bring everyone somewhere safe, but at the rate they were going at there was nowhere to hide. Everyone, besides Luna, entered Rosalina’s room. “Okay we need to think of a plan, we can’t just sit around and wait to be killed.” Shine said. “I agree, but what can we really do Shine?” Fushia replied. Toadsworth looked around at all the sad faces in the room “We take action is what we do!” he yelled. Everyone looked at him confused. “He’s right everyone, we don’t need Mario to win a fight, we can take back this star station ourselves!” Lady Bow added.

While they thought of a plan Luna was still working on defenses. He looked at the ship that was trying to dock the star station, it was one of Bowser Jr.s old pirate ships, but the flag on the flag pole had depicted the face of Wendy. Luna shook in disapproval while he activated the only ray gun on the ship, but Wendy and her troops had already boarded the star station.
Wendy watched her troops storm into the star station, she knew they had the advantage and this was just a simple ploy to lower Mario’s hopes. “Take no prisoners, prove your allegiance to our Master and slaughter these insects.” Wendy maniacally told her troops. Wendy used her wand to start fires throughout the entire station, at the rate she was going everything would be up in flames in seconds. Wendy laughed at the chaos she was creating; she enjoyed it. However suddenly her joy ended when she noticed her pirate ship explode and fall to the ground. “What have you creatures done?!” Wendy screamed. She turned around to notice Lady Bow and Toad with Bomb-ombs in their hands. They had snuck passed her and destroyed her ship. Wendy, frustrated, charged at the two and started shooting at them with her wand.

While Wendy ran towards them Fushia and Shine sprung the trap. A strip of mines they had planted exploded and knocked Wendy unconscious. It would have been a time for celebration but there were more pressing matters at hand. The star station wasn’t strong enough to hold all the devastation and it was starting to fall out of the sky. Luna gathered everyone to the landing pad and started to pile everyone into a small ship intended for single use. As Luna was about to squish himself in he noticed Wendy getting up in the distance, she turned towards them and started summoning fire from her wand. “Goodbye everyone, don’t let this failure bring you down, you all have the strength to succeed and I know you’ll bring down Bowser.” Luna said as he shut the space ships door and flew towards Wendy. Luna didn’t want to take any chances on Wendy surviving so he spun around her and decided he would take his own life by imploding himself and making a bomb like after-affect which would take Wendy down with him. Luna spun around Wendy creating momentum, he knew this was for the better good, he succeeded in his purpose and now he was ready to die.

Fushia and Shine looked away as they noticed the star station exploded into tiny pieces of star dust, it was like a mini supernova in the middle of the world. Toadette and Koopella started to cry, knowing what Luna must have done. Toad and Toadsworth tried comforting them while Lady Bow looked at the sky in amazement; she had so much respect for Luna for what he had just done. “He will be remembered as a hero.” Lady Bow said as she looked into the bright sky, knowing they still had hope, to win the war.


Chapter 4: The Crash

The explosion was massive, leaving Mario and the others to cover their eyes from the bright glare that had been emitted. Peach started gasping for air, and fell to the ground. “Peach!” Mario called as he ran towards her and lifted her in his arms. Peach looked around at everyone’s faces. “I’m okay, that was just a little too much for me.” Peach said calmly. Mario smiled and started touching her hair, trying to make her feel more comfortable. Daisy grinned as she noticed something land in the distance. “Mario, something just landed over there.” Daisy said as she pointed in the distance. Mario nodded as he put Peach down and made way to the craft. Mario wasn’t sure what to expect, it could have been ally or foe. “Stay back everyone.” He said as he made his way closer to the ship. All of a sudden the ships door opened and revealed it had in fact been survivors from the star station.

Peach noticed who exited the ship and screamed with delight “Toadsworth!!!” Peach yelled as she ran to him. Toadsworth, Toad, and Toadette started to also run towards Peach, excited to finally be reunited. “I’m so glad you all are okay, I wasn’t sure what happened to my kingdom after I was kidnapped, I assumed the worst.” Peach said as she hugged the Toads. “I was given a duty to protect your people Princess, I’m just sorry I wasn’t more successful.” Toadsworth replied. Peach shook her head. “It’s okay, I’m just glad some remnants still exist.” Peach said sincerely. Daisy and Yoshi soon joined the reunion. “I’m glad to see you safe.” Daisy said to the crew.

As Mario looked at the survivors he noticed someone he didn’t see before. “Lady Bow?” Mario asked as he got closer to them. Bombette heard this and followed him to the group. “Mario, it’s a pleasure to see you again, you too Bombette.” Lady Bow said to them as they approached her. “I’m glad to have you on our team.” Mario replied.

Wario and Waluigi stood by the side of everything, left out of all the reuniting. “I know this reunion is great and all but don’t we have more pressing issues?” Wario asked smugly. “I suppose you’re right.” Mario replied. Mario made his way to the ship and inspected it. “I guess comfortably this can fit a few people.” He continued. “What did you have in mind?” Shine asked. “We are not even close to being ready to face Bowser; if he finds us like this we are as good as dead. But we have allies out there in the world, hopefully not touched by Bowser’s wrath. I think I should take a small task force in this ship to recruit a few more allies, the rest of you should go into hiding for now.” Mario said. “And who do you have in mind to recruit?” Waluigi asked. “A very old friend of mine, someone I knew before I met any of you.” Mario replied. “And who is that?” Wario added. “Donkey Kong.” Mario said. After hearing this Peach’s mouth dropped open. “Can we really trust him, Mario?” Peach asked. “I believe we can, we are fighting for the same thing, to destroy the evil that has disrupted our land.” Mario replied.

“Then who is going with you?” Daisy asked. “I believe Lady Bow, Shine, Wario, and I will go to DK Island. The rest of you will need to build a camp and gather your strength for the battle that’s soon to come. Daisy, I’m putting you in charge, don’t let me down.” Mario said. Daisy nodded her head and shook Mario’s hand “I won’t let anything happen, I promise. Be safe.” Daisy said to Mario. Mario accepted her promise and started saying goodbye to the others, when he got to Peach he kissed her and held her tight. “I didn’t want to even be separated from you again, but I have faith everything will be alright.” Mario whispered to Peach. “Be strong, I love you.” She whispered back.

Daisy watched them and started to tear up; she wished she could go back to having someone she could confide in. She missed Luigi more than life itself. Waluigi noticed her crying and put his arm around her, trying to comfort her. Daisy wasn’t sure what to make of him being near her, but she needed a shoulder to cry on, so she turned around and hugged him as tight a she could, trying to fill the space in her heart she lost when Luigi died.

Shine went up to Fushia and said his goodbyes. “Remember Fushia; remember what Luna did for us and for this world. I only hope my death will be so significant.” He said. Fushia smiled “Good luck my friend, hopefully we will see each other again.” She replied.

As Mario and his crew went to the ship Daisy led the others into the woods, hopefully being able to find a stable environment to keep everyone alive and well.

The first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word "clan" is Mario Kart Wii. Other than that, good job.

Fushia ran to get the others; they all entered the star station hoping they could find Mario and the others in time.

I just want to bump this, I have a few more chapters made and I want to continue it! :cool:

Now that I actually have time im continuing this.

Chapter 3: The coordinates

The bright sun filled Daisy’s eyes as she exited the tunnels. She looked behind her to see everyone else coming closer to the outside. “Where are these Lumas?!” Daisy yelled. Mario looked worried as he reached Daisy, he had been certain there would be a rescue. “If they don’t get here in a minute then we need to go find cover, Bowser’s goons will be catching up to us in no time.” Mario said. Daisy looked up into the air and saw something in the distance. Whatever it was it seemed to be getting closer. “Is that our recue?” Daisy shouted as she pointed at the object. Mario stared at it for a moment, and noticed something peculiar. The one massive object in the distance got closer to reveal two flying objects in some sort of battle. “That’s our rescue, but I think it found an unexpected guest along the way!” Mario called out, as he stared into the sky.

The luma accepted they were in a fair amount of trouble. They had been ambushed on the way to pick up Mario and were now in a full out air fight. Luna made his way to the star station’s weaponry systems, trying to activate some sort of shield device. He was able to activate some defensive weapons but the station wasn’t built for battle, if they didn’t think of a plan quick they would all roast before they even got to Mario.

Meanwhile Shine and Fushia tried to bring everyone somewhere safe, but at the rate they were going at there was nowhere to hide. Everyone, besides Luna, entered Rosalina’s room. “Okay we need to think of a plan, we can’t just sit around and wait to be killed.” Shine said. “I agree, but what can we really do Shine?” Fushia replied. Toadsworth looked around at all the sad faces in the room “We take action is what we do!” he yelled. Everyone looked at him confused. “He’s right everyone, we don’t need Mario to win a fight, we can take back this star station ourselves!” Lady Bow added.

While they thought of a plan Luna was still working on defenses. He looked at the ship that was trying to dock the star station, it was one of Bowser Jr.s old pirate ships, but the flag on the flag pole had depicted the face of Wendy. Luna shook in disapproval while he activated the only ray gun on the ship, but Wendy and her troops had already boarded the star station.
Wendy watched her troops storm into the star station, she knew they had the advantage and this was just a simple ploy to lower Mario’s hopes. “Take no prisoners, prove your allegiance to our Master and slaughter these insects.” Wendy maniacally told her troops. Wendy used her wand to start fires throughout the entire station, at the rate she was going everything would be up in flames in seconds. Wendy laughed at the chaos she was creating; she enjoyed it. However suddenly her joy ended when she noticed her pirate ship explode and fall to the ground. “What have you creatures done?!” Wendy screamed. She turned around to notice Lady Bow and Toad with Bomb-ombs in their hands. They had snuck passed her and destroyed her ship. Wendy, frustrated, charged at the two and started shooting at them with her wand.

While Wendy ran towards them Fushia and Shine sprung the trap. A strip of mines they had planted exploded and knocked Wendy unconscious. It would have been a time for celebration but there were more pressing matters at hand. The star station wasn’t strong enough to hold all the devastation and it was starting to fall out of the sky. Luna gathered everyone to the landing pad and started to pile everyone into a small ship intended for single use. As Luna was about to squish himself in he noticed Wendy getting up in the distance, she turned towards them and started summoning fire from her wand. “Goodbye everyone, don’t let this failure bring you down, you all have the strength to succeed and I know you’ll bring down Bowser.” Luna said as he shut the space ships door and flew towards Wendy. Luna didn’t want to take any chances on Wendy surviving so he spun around her and decided he would take his own life by imploding himself and making a bomb like after-affect which would take Wendy down with him. Luna spun around Wendy creating momentum, he knew this was for the better good, he succeeded in his purpose and now he was ready to die.

Fushia and Shine looked away as they noticed the star station exploded into tiny pieces of star dust, it was like a mini supernova in the middle of the world. Toadette and Koopella started to cry, knowing what Luna must have done. Toad and Toadsworth tried comforting them while Lady Bow looked at the sky in amazement; she had so much respect for Luna for what he had just done. “He will be remembered as a hero.” Lady Bow said as she looked into the bright sky, knowing they still had hope, to win the war.


Chapter 4: The Crash

The explosion was massive, leaving Mario and the others to cover their eyes from the bright glare that had been emitted. Peach started gasping for air, and fell to the ground. “Peach!” Mario called as he ran towards her and lifted her in his arms. Peach looked around at everyone’s faces. “I’m okay, that was just a little too much for me.” Peach said calmly. Mario smiled and started touching her hair, trying to make her feel more comfortable. Daisy grinned as she noticed something land in the distance. “Mario, something just landed over there.” Daisy said as she pointed in the distance. Mario nodded as he put Peach down and made way to the craft. Mario wasn’t sure what to expect, it could have been ally or foe. “Stay back everyone.” He said as he made his way closer to the ship. All of a sudden the ships door opened and revealed it had in fact been survivors from the star station.

Peach noticed who exited the ship and screamed with delight “Toadsworth!!!” Peach yelled as she ran to him. Toadsworth, Toad, and Toadette started to also run towards Peach, excited to finally be reunited. “I’m so glad you all are okay, I wasn’t sure what happened to my kingdom after I was kidnapped, I assumed the worst.” Peach said as she hugged the Toads. “I was given a duty to protect your people Princess, I’m just sorry I wasn’t more successful.” Toadsworth replied. Peach shook her head. “It’s okay, I’m just glad some remnants still exist.” Peach said sincerely. Daisy and Yoshi soon joined the reunion. “I’m glad to see you safe.” Daisy said to the crew.

As Mario looked at the survivors he noticed someone he didn’t see before. “Lady Bow?” Mario asked as he got closer to them. Bombette heard this and followed him to the group. “Mario, it’s a pleasure to see you again, you too Bombette.” Lady Bow said to them as they approached her. “I’m glad to have you on our team.” Mario replied.

Wario and Waluigi stood by the side of everything, left out of all the reuniting. “I know this reunion is great and all but don’t we have more pressing issues?” Wario asked smugly. “I suppose you’re right.” Mario replied. Mario made his way to the ship and inspected it. “I guess comfortably this can fit a few people.” He continued. “What did you have in mind?” Shine asked. “We are not even close to being ready to face Bowser; if he finds us like this we are as good as dead. But we have allies out there in the world, hopefully not touched by Bowser’s wrath. I think I should take a small task force in this ship to recruit a few more allies, the rest of you should go into hiding for now.” Mario said. “And who do you have in mind to recruit?” Waluigi asked. “A very old friend of mine, someone I knew before I met any of you.” Mario replied. “And who is that?” Wario added. “Donkey Kong.” Mario said. After hearing this Peach’s mouth dropped open. “Can we really trust him, Mario?” Peach asked. “I believe we can, we are fighting for the same thing, to destroy the evil that has disrupted our land.” Mario replied.

“Then who is going with you?” Daisy asked. “I believe Lady Bow, Shine, Wario, and I will go to DK Island. The rest of you will need to build a camp and gather your strength for the battle that’s soon to come. Daisy, I’m putting you in charge, don’t let me down.” Mario said. Daisy nodded her head and shook Mario’s hand “I won’t let anything happen, I promise. Be safe.” Daisy said to Mario. Mario accepted her promise and started saying goodbye to the others, when he got to Peach he kissed her and held her tight. “I didn’t want to even be separated from you again, but I have faith everything will be alright.” Mario whispered to Peach. “Be strong, I love you.” She whispered back.

Daisy watched them and started to tear up; she wished she could go back to having someone she could confide in. She missed Luigi more than life itself. Waluigi noticed her crying and put his arm around her, trying to comfort her. Daisy wasn’t sure what to make of him being near her, but she needed a shoulder to cry on, so she turned around and hugged him as tight a she could, trying to fill the space in her heart she lost when Luigi died.

Shine went up to Fushia and said his goodbyes. “Remember Fushia; remember what Luna did for us and for this world. I only hope my death will be so significant.” He said. Fushia smiled “Good luck my friend, hopefully we will see each other again.” She replied.

As Mario and his crew went to the ship Daisy led the others into the woods, hopefully being able to find a stable environment to keep everyone alive and well.
