He felt a strong sense of compassion for her. Whatever had happened to her must have been greater than his troubles. The past was just that, but had left pain and death. He had been close, yet he had yet to feel the full force of it. Tavii remembered wondering if drowning would have been better than living and having to relive it in his mind. He was a little curious, but didn't ask her about it. He was sensitive about the past occurrences, so there was a chance she was too.
A glint of satisfaction came to his white voids as Xyoni agreed. "Not any trouble at all. It beats sitting in this tundra." He replied, hoping they could find an area to rest. Feeling for her, he finally got up. Walking over by her, he stood close in hopes she could use him to warm up a bit till they could find suitable shelter.

A tiny smile appeared across her fanged maw. This time it really looked like a smile."Thank-you.."she told him with her shy voice. When he got close to her, Xyoni could feel the warmth from Tavii. She closed in a bit and remembered the feeling of being warm again. It felt good to her as she closed her orbs. Then opened them moments later to see if a cave was close by.Her auds pointed to the black heavens and danced to see if she could hear anything. The bats wings had a noise from a cave so she would hear it."There is a cave not too far away from here."she told him.
Even though she was feeling a bit warmer, Xyoni knew that they needed to get to the cave. Her figure still shivered as her bones started to form ice on top of it.Her talons stepped forward and cushed the snow under them.Chains and shackles rattled like her bones as she paced on.Xyoni turned back to see if Tavii was following.

Tavii was surprised at her excellent hearing, but what shocked him most was that she smiled. This time it looked true. He nodded as she began to walk off. He was sure to keep up with her, but if they had gotten separated, he was guaranteed to find her with little problems.
Starting a little late, he increased his pace to catch up with her. He made sure he kept himself beside her, not ahead nor behind. Orbs watched carefully to make sure no surprises decided to appear from the nearby forest.

Xyoni paced next to him as they got closer and closer to the cave. She was only focused on the bats so anything could surprise her easily. It doesn't seem like a good idea, but what could Xyoni be afaird of?She is dead, nothing could kill her again. Then they appeared before the cave.
The cave was under a hill and the snow wasn't found it yet.She gazed over to Tavii then turned her orbs to the cave. She slipped in then waited for him.The cave was small but there was room for the both of them.Xyoni pace over a bit then laid down and curled into a ball and she still shivered.

Nearing the cave, Tavii slowed his pace down a few steps to allow Xyoni to enter without him being in the way. As she slipped in, he took a look around them to make sure nothing was out there. He couldn't find anything, but bared his fangs for a moment to deter anything that may have missed his gaze.
Also falling in behind Xyoni, he tried to place himself near enough to her to help keep her warn, yet also far enough back and between the door so that little cold could enter or warmth exit. Curling up in a spot he saw fitting, his back was slightly towards the door, but one aud was kept pointed that way so nothing would surprise him. "You alright," Tavii questioned, looking back towards her.

"Yes, thank-you, Tavii."Xyoni told him then placed her skull on the ground. Her shivering calmed down more as she felt warmer from Tavii.Glade to know that he would do this for her, even though they are only 'strangers'.To her it seemed like it went to friends but Xyoni didn't say anything about it.A song appeared in her mind but she just needed to flip some of the words around.
"With blood shot eyes, I watch you sleeping The warmth I feel beside me is slowly fading Would she hear me, if I called her name? Would she hold me, if she knew my shame?
There's always something different going wrong The path I walk is in the wrong direction There's always someone fucking hanging on Can anybody help me makes things better?"
The song screamed in her mind as she wondered if he was ok."Are you ok?"she asked him and gazed at the brute.Hoping that she would get an answer from him.

He nooded to her as she shifted herself and lay down. It seemed as though getting out of the weather was taking a positive effect on her. She seemed to be able to rest a little easier now.
He wasn't used to others worring about him, so he question threw him off. "Yes, I'm fine." He said, with a small grin "Shouldn't you be worrying about yourself?" He asked. He wasn't being rude, just concerned. After all, wasn't she the one who had almost frozen just from being outside. Keeping his head up, he kept constant watch on outside. The weather seemed to be picking up a little or maybe it was just his eyes, either way, it was better that he was here.

She smiled sweetly when he said he was fine, it was still tiny, then it faded away"I'm dead, there isn't a postive outcome for me.."she told with her orbs drifting over to the side.Xyoni gazed back over to him but she was a bit surprized at what he told her."But's it's nice to know you..'care'."Xyoni added after a few minutes. He might not care but it looked like he cared to her.If not, she would understand.Who would care for a dead fea with a broken heart? To her, it seemed like no one would. The song still ringed in her skull.
"Your tears don't fall, they crash around me Her conscious calls, the guilty to come home Your tears don't fall, they crash around me Her conscious calls, the guilty to come home
The moments died, I hear no screaming The visions left inside me are slowly fading Would she hear me, if I called her name? Would she hold me, if she knew my shame?"
Xyoni moved her skull back to where it was and watched Tavii. As the song sang in her mind thoughts appeared as well."I wonder if I can trust him.Oh, how I wish I knew..It would answer so many questions that I would have. But then, would he want me around him?Could I call him my friend?..."she poundered into thoughts. Then they disappeared back to where they belong, back in her mind.

A pang of sorrow struck him as Xyoni spoke. She had a mournful tone most of the time and even her smiles seemed forced or painful. Whatever had brought her misfortunes had never really faded. Tavii felt he should do something, but he didn't know much on comforting others. He did however feel a sense of comparison to her for he too had once died, or at least in his mind he did.
After a slight glance outside, he turned back and tried to think of something to help, yet nothing really came to him. "Is.." He paused, thinking out his words. "Is there something on your mind?" He asked more as an ice breaker than a real question, but if he could get answers, it would be all the better.
Take my breath away, wake me up today. I will return for you.
Xyoni lifted her skull after he spoke to her."It's just-"She paused for a moment wondering if he would give her a weird look for something."I don't know if I could trust you nor could you trust me."Xyoni added. After a few moments later she spoke again."Though my eyes, I see that I could. If I didn't I wouldn't be here...".Her mind was split in half of heart and mind, and she didn't know which one to follow.
Xyoni studied him once more, she noticed his maroon coat and silverish pelt. Her orbs spotted a scar on him, so she wondered where he got her.Xyoni moved her gaze back to his orbs and made sure she wouldn't lose detail. You never know when he could be showing something, which that is why she watches. Her shiving stopped so the warmth had came to her, and she was glade to know that he would help her.Xyoni was just wondering if she could repay him.
This is your last night, this is your last chance.
