The month has turned, and the five students are still missing; they are believed to be held by Death Eaters, though where is yet to be uncovered. Information sources are as dry as a desert, and time is getting on: are they even still alive?

The rest of the United Kingdom is held by a dark grip; it may be April, but the spring blossom has yet to appear, with unnatural fog and premature darkness coating the countries. It is as everyone fears -- the power of Lord Voldemort is growing, with seemingly nothing to stand in his way.

Five kids were kidnapped and that's all they say about it. I may not have seen what happened myself, but I already know more than that. Here. Let me tell you what is really going down here. There were five kids taken. Five. One Gryffindor, a Hufflepuff, two Ravenclaws, and, get this...a Slytherin! All of them were seventh years...every single one. Its kind of funny how that worked out. The first one taken was Alex Groves. She's the Gryffindor girl. Quidditch player, dating Sirius Black (I'm suprised they're still together...), and she's a pureblood. Now, I don't know much about her, but from what I've heard, her family is big into the Dark Arts. I don't think she is, but she's got the connections. Unless they're taking her because she won't join them... Ah, well. Anyway. Next we've got Tatiana Vescovi. She's a Hufflepuff. Quidditch player. Pretty face and an even nicer -- ahem. Sorry. Either way, Vescovi also has some ties into the Death Eaters. Her dad is in them. She isn't pureblood, though. Oh no no no. She's a halfblood. Wonder what they want her for, then. The two Ravenclaws were Jefferson Boot and Vesper Kostos. Boot's a Quidditch kid, too. Captain, in fact, but that's all I know about him. He isn't in my house. Kostos has some pureblood ties too, from what I've heard, but that's all I know about her, too. Story has it, though, that when the Death Eaters tried to take Kostos, Boot put up a fight and almost knocked one of them out, so the Death Eaters just took him too. Those Death Eaters are smart sometimes. Everyone else who tried to stop the attack don't remember anything about it besides it happening. No faces, no names, nothing. They couldn't even tell you if a girl or a guy took the kids. Oh, yeah. Evan Rosier was taken too. I've got my suspicions about him. He's a Slytherin, and eveyone knows he's got his eyes on the Death Eaters. Probably wants to be one of them. Humph. I bet he helped take the kids. If that is the case...well...Rosier will be out of school for good. Not that he'll care. He's a seventh year anyway. The funny thing is that no one knows how the Death Eaters got in. There's passages in the school, but I don't think any of them lead out beyond the grounds. Even then, how'd they get into the common rooms? I don't know how they did it, but they did. I feel bad for the kids that got taken. Hope they'll come back in one piece. They probably won't. Hah. What a story that will be. Anyway. The Prophet is a load of bullocks. If you want the real story you have to come me. I'll give you the real scoop. Not this gryphonshit that the Prophet has. Don't even have the names...c'mon. You can dig up more dirt than that...
