welcome to m e m o r i e s L O S T
with weakened beliefs
The month has turned, and the five students are still missing; they are believed to be held by Death Eaters, though where is yet to be uncovered. Information sources are as dry as a desert, and time is getting on: are they even still alive?
The rest of the United Kingdom is held by a dark grip; it may be April, but the spring blossom has yet to appear, with unnatural fog and premature darkness coating the countries. It is as everyone fears -- the power of Lord Voldemort is growing, with seemingly nothing to stand in his way.
come weakened defenses.

Ted and Andie's Cottage Located just on the outskirts of Hogsmeade, the two bedroom cottage might be considered cozy--ridiculously small, some might say--but it's all Ted Tonks and Andromeda Black need. Sure, it's somewhat shabby and old--definitely something of a fixer-upper, but with some work and Andromeda's unique aesthetic taste, the cottage is shaping up quite nicely.

High Street Starting as a lane from beyond the station, it is a wide, cobbled street that directly bisects the village. Most main shops are set upon it, though many houses and smaller shops dwell past the street, reached only by the small side streets. It is widely used for bringing stock from the station, though few walk past the station, for the lane peters into a mere dirt path, which often becomes boggy with all the rain received.

Many shops of a questionable nature are kept here and the small street is lined with strange folk trying to sell even stranger items. Stockwell Orphanage The orphanage is not a pleasant place, and it was once the home of Tom Marvolo Riddle, who came to be known as Lord Voldemort. Riddle spent the first eleven and a half years of his life in this orphanage, described as "shabby but spotlessly clean," in a "grim, square building surrounded by high railings" stone stairs, and a bare courtyard. It was run by Mrs. Cole, who seems to have done a good job - she was a "sharp woman," the building was clean, and the orphans "looked reasonably well-cared for." Mrs. Cole's office was full of old, mismatched furniture, and Tom Riddle's room - a single, at least when he was eleven - contained an iron bedstead, an old wardrobe, and a hard wooden chair. The orphanage allowed the children, even those who were ten or eleven, to wander around London, and took them to a coastal town on holiday.
