Hi all, i've been a member for over a year now i think but i remembered that i never introduced myself so here goes

My names Lauren, but everyone calls me Lolly, im 17, im a student, and i live in Norfolk England...of course, i'm a massive Westlife Fan, but i only became a fan last year. In England everyones heard of westlife and knows their songs, but, like most of the public i just thought they were a cheesy boyband who sung a lot of ballad-ey covers. But last year i was watching mariah carey videos on youtube and come across her duet with Westlife....and i was blown away! I was blown away by Marks AMAZING vocals ( and the fact that he's totally cute ) but the bit when he sings "turn around and see me cry-y-y-eee" just shocked me and i thought *wow, these guys can actually sing* but i didnt really think anymore of it, but then i remembered that Mark was gay.

SO, throwing in my obsession with cute gay couples ( JP and Craig, Luke and Noah, Brian and Justin, Anthony and Tim, John and Scott etc.) i was hooked and started watching loads of vids and interviews and stuff on youtube and was thrilled to find that they are all such NICE guys who are genuinely thankful for what they've got, down to earth and never take anything for granted, which, i think, is rare to find these days.

THEN by watching all those vids, realised just how sucessful they are shocked me again...for some reason i thought they're only number ones were FWW and YRMU, iknow, crazy right
Also realised How amazing marks voice actually is from songs on tour like Kiss, and songs like you are so beatiful to me, and The amazing long note at the end of FWW on during the back home tour!

Then i discovered they joys of fanfiction...slash fanfiction and i found the fanfiction section of this site ...Love can build a bridge and a life lived in fear got me sucked in to the whole Markevin Fanfic scene and now i cant get enough LOL

Just realised i havnt mentioned Kev, so here goes again ( by the way, sorry that i'm rambling on and on, just cant sleep ATM so thought i'd post )

When i found out that Kev was Marks BF and saw pics of them together my first thought was "awwwwww they're soooo cuuute" but once i got over that and i listened to some V stuff i thought they were Amazing aswell (and sooooo need to make a comeback, yes i've signed the petition ) I literally had 'You stood up' 'Chills in the evening' 'blood sweat and tears' and 'can you feel it' stuck in my head for months! i drove my parents crazy to say the least!

All i need now is to casually bump into them in Norwich and get a picture with them, and then go see a westlife concert and it would make my life!

SO thats my little (quite long actually, didnt realise i wrote that much ) story...hope i didnt eaither bore you all to death or make you think that im totally crazy LOL but hopefully you wont as, like i said, i've been a member for around a year and posted quite a bit on various things

so glad you decided to introduce yourself, it was really nice to read your post, didnt get bored at all
and I know what you mean, Mark was the reason I payed attention to Westlife, back in the days when they were famous in my country, he can make you touch heaven with his voice and in my opinion so does Kev, maybe his voice is not as powerful as Mark's but the sincerity and peace he makes you feel when singing can be compared by nothing two talents got togetehr

I've just been in a WL concert once but I can say that if you have the chance at any moment, don't miss it because it's one of the most amazing experiences of my life, I'm already saving for the next tour, once you go to one you can't stop lol...

Well I have not time to extend my post, so just want to say that it's nice to meet you properly, even when I've seen you around, and I hope we can keep chatting with you for a long time
