Castle Gossip
The current regent of Mercury is said to have a crush on his childhood friend, Princess Riri.

Although she denies it, Princess Serenity is really an albino.
Wecome to Mare Serenitatis, a new Sailor Moon RPG set in the Silver Millennium a generation before the Sailor Senshi we all know and love! But this time period isn't as peaceful as many sources tell us. The moon faces tumoial from the aggressive earth and from within it's own royal city. Which side will you take? Who will win? It's all up to you.

I've added more to the plot. I figured that the senshi could use someone to fight since they aren't allowed to use their powers against humans. ;)

1. All senshi are girls. Period. No guys that turn into girls. No tuxedo-wearing-warriors or knights. If you want a male fighter character you can take a gaurd.

2. No godmoding. Godmoding can fall into two different categories and neither one of them will be allowed on this site. The first type of godmoding is controlling someone else's character. (i.e. "Princess Serenity's joke made all of the senshi laugh.") You may however, reference something talked about in a previous post (i.e. Princess Serenity told a joke. Sailor Mercury's post stated that she did not laugh. Princess Serenity's next post might look something like this, "Apparently Sailor Mercury did not think the joke was funny. Serenity looked at her sadly wishing that she would laugh.") You may also control characters that are not yet being played by anyone. However, as soon as that character is taken, you have to stop and try not to control that character too completely or too often. If you find you absolutely love playing the character, you can always take them yourself.

The second type of godmoding is when you make your character too powerful. No one can dodge every attack every time. Though, that being said, keep in mind who you are frighting against. I doubt a maid would be able to get a hit in on a trained guard. wink.gif The longer your character has been fighting, the more powerful they can be, but remember, there is no such thing as an invincible attack and everyone has weaknesses.

3. Cursing is allowed, but please keep it to a minimum. This is Sailor Moon, not South Park. wink.gif Don't include cursing that you wouldn't find in the anime or manga. If you want to make a point that your character is swearing a lot, please do it tastefully instead of dropping f-bombs all over the place. (i.e. "Sailor Jupiter was mad. Really mad. She began to swear, intensely and profusely, using words that would shock most of the members of the castle, and even some of the more weak hearted sailors.")

4. This board currently has a PG-13 rating. This means that we allow fights, cursing, blood, and so on. Please, just no sex scenes. You can mention your character has done it if you must, or if a scene leads up to sex, just have a 'fade to black' sort of moment like "They closed the door and locked it behind them." or something like that. Thank you!

5. We want this RPG to be high quality. Please make sure your posts are at least 300 words long. You can always make them longer if you want to. But remember, we care about quality, not quantity. Don't just post something because your post needs more words or it's "your turn to post." If you feel you can't add anything useful to the topic, just make a post telling everyone; "((I can't think of anything to post. You guys can skip me.))" Your posts should also be in third person story format.

6. This is an RPG, and most of what we write should be in character (IC.) If you feel that you have to make a comment on the last person's post or that you have to explain something out of character to make your posts easier to understand put double parenthesis around your ((out of character)) (OOC) message to differentiate it from the rest of your post and try to keep OOC posting to a minimum. This does not apply to any posts in the "Getting Started" or the "OOC" categories. Feel free to talk out of character there as much as you want (as long as your posts are in the right section.) That's what they're there for.

7. Please be respectful to all the members on the forum, especially the admin (pretty please?) If your characters get into a fight, that doesn't mean the player dislikes you as well! If you feel someone does seriously dislike you and it is causing a problem, just PM me and I will do my best to sort things out. :3
