Title: WikiMMBN

SpikemanPSP - January 29, 2006 09:00 AM (GMT)
Come help us compile the most complete source of information on MMBN on the net!

WikiMMBN

If you don't know what a wiki is or how to use one, please check out Wikipedia.

Cullin1 - January 29, 2006 04:37 PM (GMT)
Sweet man! . How do we get editing it?

Gemini Shadows - January 29, 2006 05:16 PM (GMT)
You can click the tab on top that says 'edit' or create an MMBNWiki account. It's really easy.

Cannon page mostly compiled by yours truly. I can't find my MMBN 4 or Network Transmission, so if anyone can supply me, or put on the site, the Cannon description and PA's for those games (maybe even MMBN 6 if you have it...), that would be great.

Only thing I don't know how to do is make new sections. Any info regradin that would be great.

SpikemanPSP - January 29, 2006 05:25 PM (GMT)
The easiest way to make a new page is to link to one that doesn't exist then click the link but you can also type it in the URL. To make a link use link. To put the page in a category use . Wikipedia has all this and more on their site. BTW, once we get ten pages of content I get a free domain. What should it be? MMBNOnline.com?

RaziQ - January 29, 2006 05:46 PM (GMT)
Yer , if it is to hard some will forget the name

Gemini Shadows - January 29, 2006 05:56 PM (GMT)
Alright, that seems easy enough. Lan Hikari's page has been expanded to include the basics, such as friends, family, house, and the like.

Working on some more over here. I'm thinking of making Battle Chip compilation pages. I'll start working on MMBN 1, so that there are no conflicts with what articales exist and what not.

Edit: That took a while...

MMBN1 Chiplist. Trust me, everything on that list is accurate. Anyone who hasn't played the first one, that's how it's supposed to be, so unless I magically messed something up, I think it's set.

My fingers hurt.

DragoonColonel - January 29, 2006 07:07 PM (GMT)
I'm doing mmbn 6 then.....

I'll edit it!!!

demo22 - January 29, 2006 07:59 PM (GMT)
I'll do a walkthrough for mmbn 5.(I already started one on this site.Might as well finish it.)

SpikemanPSP - January 29, 2006 08:36 PM (GMT)
Thanks for all the contributions guys! Gemini, I made you a sysop, whatever that is. My idea for the chip list was to make a category for each game (ex. MMBN 1 Chips) but that would require making a page for each chip. So I think both are good.

Gemini Shadows - January 29, 2006 08:48 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I know, but in the end, that's probably going to happen anyway. And the MMBN 1 ChipList is isolated, so we can make one for each game easily. If we get more people working on this than the people of this site, I think everything'll get done well.

SpikemanPSP - January 29, 2006 11:13 PM (GMT)
I liked your idea of a chip list so I made one for MMBN 2. So apparently, a sysop is an admin so you are an admin.

Exciting news! We are getting a domain! This site will be mmbnonline.com and the wiki will be wiki.mmbnonline.com.

RaziQ - January 30, 2006 06:09 AM (GMT)
cool . if the game come out set it on your new domain to

SpikemanPSP - January 31, 2006 06:15 AM (GMT)
Woot new domain! This site is now http://mmbnonline.com and the wiki is http://wiki.mmbnonline.com . :ph43r:

SuperSaiya-Jin - January 31, 2006 06:18 AM (GMT)
I can't figure out how to type up an article...I want to put Maelstrom in there.

BTW, I'd be willing to type up a "How to make a custom navi" guide using the lesson I typed out in the Custom Navi Applications topic.

Gemini Shadows - January 31, 2006 09:02 PM (GMT)
SSJ, if you go to MMBN Online in the wiki, then to Fan Navis, I've added a page for Maelstrom. To edit, click the edit tab at the top of the screen. You can change everything except the , and the page will still be there.

SuperSaiya-Jin - January 31, 2006 10:50 PM (GMT)
Awesome, thanks Gemini!

SpikemanPSP - February 19, 2006 05:40 PM (GMT)
Everyone please come back to the wiki and add information! We need all the help we can get. Plus, I'm afraid if we stop adding stuff that they will take away our domain.

Mega-Soul - February 19, 2006 10:37 PM (GMT)
All the Crosses,Beast OUts,and Beast Overs are now edited and complete

Spikeman - February 22, 2006 02:46 AM (GMT)
Thanks for adding info Mega Soul. I think maybe we should put each cross, etc. on their own page. If any one wants to help but doesn't know what to add, we could use info on each of the chips.

SuperSaiya-Jin - April 18, 2006 07:08 PM (GMT)
I don't know if everyone knows we have a Wiki, so I'm bringing this back up! You can even post your navi in the "Fan Navis" section. If someone would tell us how to...

Gemini Shadows - April 19, 2006 03:01 AM (GMT)
You have to join up and study the stuff to make new sections. I'll get the data up here once I've done school tomorrow. Night time for me...

SuperSaiya-Jin - April 19, 2006 04:42 AM (GMT)
Well, I've found out how to make an article. If anyone wants me to start one on there, just PM me. I'll start it and you can edit it however you want to.

Or I could just tell you how to start one...

1) Put a link with your navi's name. (Example: Maelstrom.exe) (Those things next to it are included.)
2) It should be red once you save it. Now click.
3) You'll be sent to an edit page. Type whatever you want to, and add this:

Categories: Fan Navis

You've finished! WOOHOO!

Dunkleheit - April 19, 2006 05:08 AM (GMT)
If you type SSJ4's navi, then the link will say SSJ4's navi, but it will lead to the Maelstrom.exe page.

To start a new paragraph, you need to skip a line.

SuperSaiya-Jin - April 19, 2006 05:26 AM (GMT)
Also, if you wish to create a Headline, put this:

HEADLINE EXAMPLE
Replace HEADLINE EXAMPLE with whatever you want to put.

Dunkleheit - April 19, 2006 05:29 AM (GMT)
===Headline=== and ====Headline==== also work, but they are below ==Headline==

SuperSaiya-Jin - April 19, 2006 05:34 AM (GMT)
Dunk, do you want me to make an article for your navi? You can look at mine for a (somewhat large) example.

TheUltimateNavi - April 21, 2006 03:42 PM (GMT)
I cant figure out where the Fan Navi's Section is.

EDIT:Nevermind.

SuperSaiya-Jin - April 21, 2006 08:35 PM (GMT)
Maelstrom's page has been changed. Now, it's made to follow the fanfics rather than the events here.

TheUltimateNavi - April 21, 2006 08:43 PM (GMT)
Have you seen mine?

SuperSaiya-Jin - April 21, 2006 10:50 PM (GMT)
Yep. Good job.

Dunkleheit - April 21, 2006 11:15 PM (GMT)
Go ahead, make one for me. I may or may not edit it.

SuperSaiya-Jin - April 22, 2006 12:05 AM (GMT)
Done. Do with it what you will.

Burn - April 22, 2006 12:06 AM (GMT)
Do you need a membership to put your character in the Fan Navis section?

SuperSaiya-Jin - April 22, 2006 12:08 AM (GMT)
Nope. Wikis are made for anyone to edit. I could edit Mega-Soul's article to say "fish" if I wanted to. But, that's vandalism, and it's against the rules.

Burn - April 22, 2006 01:09 AM (GMT)
OK now um how do i make a topic for my navi?

EDIT:Can Someone make a topic for me and I will just edit it?

SuperSaiya-Jin - April 22, 2006 03:23 AM (GMT)
Done. Edit it however you wish.

Burn - April 22, 2006 04:55 AM (GMT)
You forgot .exe to the name, can that be changed, also Ive done some editing, what do you think, did I stay true to Burn.exe and Nex?

SuperSaiya-Jin - April 22, 2006 05:28 AM (GMT)
I fixed it. Also, I don't really know much about Burn and Nex to being with, so I couldn't tell you.
