saber.gif ok this might sound alittle strange but i used to be able to do the spits great for axe kicks and high cresants but i cant do them anymore. i am generally suple but not as much as i would like to be. Is it really just a case of stretching the tendons and muscles so they can perform these feats or are there other things i can try? And also i am a big wwe fan (the rock is my idol, and not just for his physice.......haha that sounded abit gay) but anyway he incorperates nip ups in his free work outs with sit ups and push ups etc. is there any benefit in this??? I can see how it might help supabtly and maybe the abs but does it really have any bearing??

'nip ups' ??

what are those?

If you want flexibility for kicking, do dynamic stretches in combination with other stretching (static, active and PNF).

If you only want to be able to do the splits, oncentrate on isometric/PNF stretching.

static training for a static task, dynamic training for a dynamic task.
