I've been experimenting with the red hooks, as trailer hooks on my spinnerbaits. Seem to work ok, are they increasing my number of fish......no....but....It's not decreasing it either.........maybe someday that red hook will entice that one bass I need in a pinch!!!!! I'll continuse to use them.

I add red hooks to all my Traps and replace front hooks on most crankbaits with red. A bluegill colored DT10 with red front hook has been great this year.

By the way, the BassPro red trailer hooks lose there red paint after about a half a day of fishing, so if you buy some...get 3-4 packs. There's a reason they are cheap.

A red marker does not take up a lot of space. Easy way to touch up or color hooks. Also black to add a few stripes or lines on crankbait bodies, and green for a little tint now an then.
