People change. They gain new fears and overcome old ones. New skills are learned and old ones are perfected. Careers are changed and fortunes gained and lost. All this and more happens on a daily basis in our world so why not in Muertan?
I remember a board I was on a year or so ago had an excellent idea. Every three months we were all asked to add a detailed post to our characters profiles detailing if and how they and their lives had changed over the previous three months. After which the profiles would be closed to posting again.
This was a challenging and fun assignment that helped us to keep our characters profiles up to date and garnished a renewed interest in profile reading every three months.
So I was wondering what the admins would think of adding such an option to the profiles here at LsD.
The profiles are always open and edits can be made to them anytime. Its just up to the players to decided whether they update them or not. If the profiles have been accidentally closed, then they simply need only to ask us to reopen them.
Cool. Should we add the updates as an extra post or leave a note that the update has been made?
It doesnt really matter. Like i said, people can do it if they want. An update notice isn't needed. :]
