Hey guys, I am just entering the world of spearfishing as a hobby. I live in La, and will be hunting while I sail my trimaran probably a couple times a month. I will be sailing every now and then along the coast to Pensacola and plan to hunt by some rigs along the way. I need some serious help on what kind of gun to get? I was ready to buy a JBL Woody Magnum a few days ago but then started seeing bad reviews about JBL all together. I have been researching but see mixed reviews and different suggestions on alot of guns. I am not very knowledgeable on spearguns, and basically just need someone to tell me what to buy :slap:

I'm looking for something around $300 or less since I am just doing this for fun. I know there really isnt an all around gun, but since you know where I will be hunting you guys could tell me what I need. As long as it is powerfull enough to kill some big fish and will hold up well over the years, I will be a happy camper. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks
