(thought I'd get a conversation going in here...)
I'd have to say my favorite part in FOTR would be in the beginning (EE) when Bilbo is writing in his book, writing "Concerning Hobbits". I love how he describes them, and all the shots, scenery. Basically, I just love the Shire. I must say that my favorite part was in Lothlorien...I absolutely love it in the book and in the movie but I also like Rivvey too...lol they are both great!!!!!

My favorite part has to be Rivendell. It looks so beautiful and gracious....does that word make sense there???
 yeah and then it'd have to be Lothlorien because they all look like gods and goddesses... --------------------  |

I would have to say that my favorite part is Moria. When Gandalf first lights up the hall and sam says: "Now thats an eye opener at no mistake."

I love the part in Moria also. It is really cool when Gandalf fights the Balrog.

Aye, Moria is amazing, but there is something about Lothlorien that is so mystical, I love it.

True, true. It is very mysterious. I like the blue-ish mist that sort of hung around all of the tree's. Very mystical, as you said.
