INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the DDC! This is a club for all of you out there that doodle dragons in the margins of your notes, or for anyone out there that would like to. This is our haven for resident artists, and a place for aspiring artists to turn for tips, tricks, and handy sleights of hand.

MISSION

Libertas has attracted a some good artists, and cultivated a few over the years. The purpose of the DDC is to nurture this artistic inclination in our members, to help everyone improve in their art and to provide a place for people to show off their art to appreciative audiences. Joining does not require that you be interested in helping other artists improve, nor that you be at all skilled at drawing previous to joining. It requires only an interest in the artistic interpretation of our written world.

From time to time we also plan to host little events, such as dragon swaps or little contests, things to keep you interested, as well as simply providing a little company of people to go to for dragon artsy stuff around Libertas.

Monthly Challenge

PREFERRED SUBJECT MATTER: Dragons are <33333 But I also love drawing whers and firelizards. Can't draw humans to save my life though, but I'm working on it. I'm also not too bad at horses and dogs, but those are not nearly as refined as my dragons are.
PREFERRED ART MEDIA: Traditional is what I'm best at for doing different poses and getting colors exactly right. I'm becoming a better pixeler, mostly using Khiitan's "build-a-dragon" base set, as I like to call it.
RANDOM STUFF: I need to actually post some of the stuff I've done...<.< But yeah. I've done a lot, and my most recent pixel work is by far my best. I need to scan some of my traditional work, but that will come in time.

Hey guys! You may have thought this place was done, but turns out it just went into hibernation. It's back! Yay! So that means we're opening for new members. And we will be considering new events and such type things for interested parties. So new folks. Please feel free to sign up!

Hey guys. You may have seen this (or not), but we have an event up! A monthly challenge, which will hopefully turn into a monthly thing. Hence monthly. This month's is easy, just a standard "draw a dragon" thing. Wanted to mention it since this post will effectively cover it up on the main index. Find it here. And participate!
