Ninja Formations
There are many formations ninja can take for multiple situations, these formations can have higher purpose than others. They are named after the letters in the alphabet - and look like them too.
Formations:
A - "Offensive Protection" This is a protective stance, atleast three nija stand infront of a person forming the letter A, that person is the line in the pointed arch. The three points are ninja protecting that person. The two side nnijas can move foward to take a offensive approach.
B - "Base Wave" This stance takes a larger number of ninjas, a single line has a group stand in two archs - this is helpfull in charges at the front most ninjas can injury or halt incoming targets while the line kills them easily. Higher ranked people are ussually up front.
C - "Small Base Wave" This like the "B" stance is primarly the same except the higher rank people are behind, while the lower rank ninja busy the targets whiel th higher charges the busy ninja to kill easily. This though a wave stance can be done with atleast three ninja.
D - "Alternate Base Wave" This is like the "base wave" stance but with less numbers and only one arch - doing this will trap the targets in a fence of enemy ninja, for a easier kill - only used for taking out specific targets like a enemy group leader/comander.
E - "Spear Base Wave" For quick charges, this is used to divide the enemy force, all frotn ninjas are suppsoe to strike their targets but not with intent just to injury them as much as possible, the line in the back will kill them.
F - "Broken Spear Base Wave" - This is liek the "spear base wave" but with less numbers, thsi is use for the "axe spin" where then spin the entire formation and change it throwing off the enemy group.
G - "Small Base Wave - Scout Tactic" - Forming the small base wave, but with a few ninja in the middle of the arhc of ninjas allows thsoe few to speed up and scout ahead or step and then back surrounding their targets.
H - "Double Wall Protection" - This is done only when surrounded by both sides - the ninjas protecting a target will spread out in lines to protect the person on the two threatened sides. This is only good if the attackers are only coming from two sides allowing the protective force to concentrate on two sides instead of four.
I - "Double Wall Moving Protection" - This is used when the target needs ot leave the situation, the ninjas protecting the target will move to the sides and run with the person, not goig for kills - but rather mames. The ninja can also move ahead or stay back to keep the attackers away.
J - "Flat-Spear Charge" - The ninjas get into a curved defense line, but in reality used that curve to break through other line of targets.
K - "Reversed Spear Base Charge" - This charge is used by making a line then forming a sharp curved live of ninjas facing towards the targets. The curved part will close in on tagets to surrounded them quickly from target to target - then the line will fifnis hup any mamed targets.
L - "Sweeping Base" - This is the most basic charge tactic used, by making a line then a small group on either side will charge a fort, the group will rbanch off and attack fro mthe side or rear - whiel the line with blunty attack.
M - "Frenzy Tight" - Though it looks like a scrambled force set up the two line of ninja act as a distraction for the curved line of ninja in the middle. On moving through a military base the curved line would be needed person(s), and moving in htis manner allows them to get to their target safely.
N - "Frenzy Across" - Like the frenzy battle formation - but the curved line is set up diagnally. Used if the target of the ninja in the curved line's location is unknown. Often tiems using frenzy leaves the important ninja group on the wrong side of the fight, but in this way their is a better chance of the ninjas to get to their targets.
O - "Raining Death" - mostly unusable on the ground makes this no ordinary battle formation. This is used mostly in a crowded area. It was used in the rain country as a means of ambush, the ambushers would jump down in a circle around their targets launching various attacks - if the attacks failed the ninjas would just jump back up or away. Easily used in a thick forest, or crowded village.
P - "Hallway Raid" - This is used to take out a enemy filled open and tight spot. The curved line will act as the raiding force while the line behidn htem will enter a side route and try to sweep any hidden enemies or try to surround thier enemy force from behind.
Q - "Raining Raid" - This is used for small infiltrations, a small force will jump down launching various attacks and standing as a distraction, as the small line will rush into/at their target(s).
R - "Hallway Blitz Rush" - This is used to take out a enemy filled open and tight spot. The curved line will act as the raiding force while the line behidn htem will enter a side route and try to sweep any hidden enemies or try to surround thier enemy force from behind. The other line will rush into the open area getting the enemies to reveal them selves for an attack - the curved line will then take them out before the enemies can kill anyone.
S - "Snake Trail" - Known as the most reckless and last last resort formation. This is rarely used, but was suppose to be for large-scale battles that were being lost, BUT the target wasn't just to kill all the enemy forces. The few ninja left on the losing side will form a signle file line and weave into the battle field and just run at thier target(s) and try to complete thier objectives.
note: used in the second ninja-world war by lightning - thier objective was to take out a guarded weapon factory, the small force of lightning ninjas were losing so in the last ditch effort they ran into the brunt force and blew up the oil room with suicide bombs.T - "Dungeon Trap-Room" - two lines will form, one verticle the other horizontal. one line will swarm a enemy position, but then retreat oncce the enemies approached them, allowing the other line to "collapse" around the enemies and surround them.
U - "Sort Reinforce" - This is used by forming a line, by curving the line the ninja first in combat can busy the enemies while the back row flanks(goes around) them to surround them.
V - "Refersher" - Two lines will form in two line, with only one end of the liens meeting. In combat only the frotn most ninjas will be fighting - if the ninjas get tired or are in danger the back will charge front - or the frotn will jump back, thus switching their positions. The back ninajs(which ever row they may be) at all times will be launching minor ranged attacks.
