Rez sat at his desk, working on a large stack of papers. He stopped for a moment, letting out a sight and looked out of the window on the west wall. The sun rays crept through the opened drapes, shining on two pistols that rested on a brown desk under the window. His face showed deep thought as the wind blew gently through the open window.
--
With a loud clash ringing through the sky, Terres' lance and Kari's scyth collided with great force, sending sparks from the blades. They pushed each other back hard and charged again. Terres lept a few inches off the ground, almost hovering and spun in the air, attacking Kari with a backslash. She, being the more experienced out of the two, easily dodged the attack, landing behind Terres and checking him in the back. He hit the ground and skid a little bit before letting out a groan.
"Damn it, Kari. You're are just too fast for me right now."
Terres said, standing up and dusting himself off. Kari looked at him and closed her eyes, turning around.
"You are just too slow Terres."
She said and walked off from the field, toward the LoA Acadamy. Terres stood there with an awkward smile on his face before letting out a big sigh of fatigue and falling to the ground.

"Ha..ha." Terres said, waving off Rik's comment. "Well, if you really wanna know, I'm doing a review on basic mission survival. The do's and don'ts of missions. I'm being monitored today by Headmaster Rez, hopefully he will come to a final decision of me being a full teacher or maybe even a trainer." Terres explained, looking up at the acadamy. The clouds were gracefully hovering along the sky, above the building. The sun hung perfectly above the building, making the sight almost surreal.
"I really want to make this place what it once was." He said, changing his tone to a rare serious. Throughout the field, various students could be seen ungoing offered classes and training sessions, hoping to one day be in the ranks of mercenary angels. He was starting to get lost in thought and snapped out of it. "Anyway, how about a sparring session? Up to it, Mr. Anti-violence?" Terres asked, going back to his joking self.

"Yeah, don't get killed out there. That's lesson one. Do admire Rik in every way possible." Rik laughed a little, looking down the field to the students training, taking in deeply Terres' words, "Yeah, well buddy. You and me both. . ." Grinning, he jumped to his feet, threw his apple behind him, and wildly threw his fists before his chests for excercise, "Heh, fine. If you don't mind getting beat."

((I'ma post on this account so I can keep posting my side story as well))
Terres grinned as well, spinning his spear in his hand before throwing it into the air. It landed a few yards behind him, thrusting into the ground and sticking up toward the sky. He threw his arms out infront of him, in his hand-to-hand combat style. It struck him funny that even though Rik was three years younger than him, he had taught him the basics of hand-to-hand combat, one of the training requirements for Mercenary Angels.
"Let's see if I can remember." Terres said with a smirk. *Lesson one, scope your opponent.* He thought to himself, searching for every and any opening he could get at Rik. He knew there were no weapons on him, Rik was all about the limbs.
*Lesson two, size up the opponent.* He began thinking. He tried hard not to show that he was running his lessons through his mind as he and Rik began to circle around, maintaining their fighting stance. Without warning, Terres attacked Rik with remarkable speed. He kept his mind focused on his attack and continued to watch Rik's movements as he ran toward him.

((Alright, sorry if you find this as god modding. I take hits, just not the first time, especially if it's a simple attack.)) Rik, being more experienced, could see right through Terres' thoughts, "What, you forgot everything I taught you already?" Rik's eyes squinted slightly, and a grin slipped across his face as Terres jumped forwards for an attack. He pounced backwards, only slightly escaping the attack, grabbing the arm before him, and playfully headbutting Terres.

((Its fine, I don't consider it unless its excessive. Usually I just counter.))
Terres let out a small shout of surprise. He expected Rik to dodge, but the headbutt caught him off guard.
Not too much though..
Terres stumbled back a bit, the perfect distance he needed between him and Rik. Using the momentum of his stumble, he backflipped, kicking Rik in the face. Unforutantly, the headbutt did enough to keep him from having perfect balance and he fell over as Rik did. "No, not completely." Terres said playfully, standing back up and retaining his fighting stance. He was surprised that he was still kind of tired from sparring with Kari. *Man, she must have really gave me a run for my money.* He thought to himself, but tried to maintain himself.
