The Rules Short and sweet! Read through! General Rules: - Sign up with a FIRST, MIDDLE and LAST name.
- OOC fighting is silly. This is meant to be a friendly board. Remember, anything done IC is not always a personal attack on you. It's just a game, it's meant to be fun.  If you have an issue, don't do it on the board or the chatboard. If it's something that can be helped by an Admin, feel free to PM.
- Sigs can be no more than 250x500, or two rows of icons with some text.
- This is a board meant for mature posters. That means drugs, sex, violence, and swearing are all allowed to a certain extent. -Violence is allowed. However, personally, I don't have a weak stomach, but some people do. If things get really intensely violent, I don't need to hear about someone being gutted or having their vital organs descriptively sorted through...I don't know how that would come up on this board, but if it ever does, try and keep it as un-gross as possible?
-Sex is also allowed, but let's not go crazy with this one. A few details here and there never hurt anyone, but 40 posts about two characters getting it on is a little much, don't you think? If you don't feel comfortable writing it out, use a fade. And if your topic does have sexual content in it, throw a warning in the title.
-Swearing is fine. Just don't make every word typed swearing and it will be okay. - Admin decisions have to be respected. They're not based on anything except how to make the board better.
- Until you are accepted, don't post anywhere except the Registration section.
- If you want to play a Canon, post a reservation for them in the Canon section. It will be held for you for two days. If you come on and see the Canon you wanted to play is already reserved, feel free to counter-reserve it. If that person who originally had it reserved doesn't post a finished registration in two days, it's your reservation now. If you're playing a canon, PLEASE read the subplots first so you know what you're getting into! Posting Rules:- This is an advanced site, and therefore we expect advanced posting. Every post should be at least two, hopefully three, decently sized, paragraphs long. Each of those paragraphs should be no less than 5 sentences long. Of course, sometimes you just don't have much to write, but that shouldn't be all the time. Use thoughts, use actions, detail emotion. This rule is here because it sucks when you post a big, long post, and someone replies with a few lines.
- No godmoding. Duh.
- ACTIVE POSTING IS KEY! I know as well as anyone else that it's sometimes hard to stay active all the time. But so many boards die because of people not posting after they've commited to plots and such, and then others not having anyone to post with. Where it says 'all we know is' in the application, type 'falling' to prove you've read through this. If you're going to sign up, be active, please!!! If you're getting bored, plot with someone. Don't be shy.
- Have as many accounts as you can handle, but for every four characters you have, one must be a male. This keeps the girl/boy ratio a bit more even.
- Write in third person, please. Third person means typing as such: "Noelle walked into the room and glanced around. She laughed softly to herself." instead of "Noelle walks into the room and glances around. She laughs softly to herself" That about covers it! PM an Admin if you have any questions!
