QUOTE
According to Valve, none of the plot details have been formalized, and as such it isn't expected to be released for some time

QUOTE
Episode Two is due out at the end of September this year, and if their release schedule so far is anything to go by, Episode Three could be 18 months after that.

QUOTE
there are numerous rumours that Episode Three will finish with a climatic battle in the Artic station where Dr. Judith Mossman was spotted in the first episode.

QUOTE
Don't expect Episode III any time soon then by the looks of it. But you knew that anyway, right?

So nothing definet though..
I have also heard hear and there that it will be shipped with a new portal, aimed at expanding the "apeture science" storyline, and with a "portal-multiplayer" which would just be insane 7.gif

I hope Barney makes an appereance in Epi3 since he wasnt in Epi2(but one of his voice files was, near the end of the game)

Climatic battle? With Gordon? Well, I think the closest you can come to climatic battle is a copy of the Nihilanth Battle.

I also have had this vibe that Nihilanth will be in Epi3 as a part of the Combine tech, converted with cybernetic implants and such.

I like barney aswell, he is classic biggrin.gif

Climatic battle: I still like my idea of gman vs gordon one on one. This could fit in with the storylines well... gorden with his faithfull companion alyx find something gman wants hidden on the bourelis (however u spell it, the ship thingy from apeture science tongue.gif) as a result, the gman must terminate his contract with them both, and kill them both.
However they (or gorden at the least) escape and thats the end of ep3.
Half-Life 3 (which has all but been confirmed) will continue the story with gorden travelling across the universe to stop the gman and his plan of universal domination (maybe this part is a lil too far.. but ah well biggrin.gif)

Nihilanth? Now there is something i havnt considered. But isnt he (it?) a zen creature fighting the combine like us? so perhaps nihilanth could become a potential ally? (like the vorts have)

ahh, i love a good old happy speculation thread aola.gif

"Whats in his suitcase?!?!"

Whats in the suitcase?

Contents of briefcase and other possessions

With the exception of the opening sequence in Half-Life 2: Episode One, the G-Man is always seen carrying a briefcase, and fans have often debated its contents. In the original Half-Life, using the "no-clipping" cheat (noclip), or with the aid of a model viewer, it is possible to see inside his case. However, it's often pointed out that because the contents of the briefcase can only be seen by cheating or using game development tools, it is likely that the player was never intended to see them and so these contents may constitute nothing more than an Easter egg. Note that this only applies in HL1, as the inside of his case in HL2 is blank. The contents of the case appear to be as follows:

* 3 pencils
* 2 scribbled sheets of paper
* A 9mm handgun in a holster
* An identity card
* A portable computer

Also, in Opposing Force, the G-Man is seen for a moment talking on a cell phone.

The Gman we see isnt really a real man its a mind projection of an alien in order to comunicate with gordon.

From what i take it Gman is like an arms dealer and gordon is his gun he's taken inorder to put on a good show as in when he sas many pople are interested in gordon (as in other aliens)
think f it like a TV station and the aliens are on tunining in and watching gordon. if they are that powerfull they could manipulate a plant,world,mind if they wanted to.

All makes for good TV

anyway thats what i think[SIZE=7]
