The long grass was crunching under her feet, she was running, and had been for miles. This place made her seem some what happier than she had been in a long time, she sensed that it was lonely just like her; and yet, it gave her a purpose unlike any other, though she wasn't sure what yet. She slowed down to a trot and looked around her. Mountains in the distance, probably 100 miles away, and everywhere else open grass land. There was a cool breeze rustling her fur, everything was just right. A few trees for shade and small puddles in the long grass. She slowed to a walk and stopped, breathing in deep she rolling in the grass. Everything was so beautiful, it was like the perfect world, something that she had never seen before. Even deer in the distance, something that a lone wolf could catch on there own. She laid on her back in the grass, enjoying the sunshine.

Tired paws, tired claws, aching muscles and drooping tail. The tell tale signs of a travel worn wolf, and ones Cheza did not wear with pride. 12 days she had walked and ran no stop with no food and no water. She half walked and half fell onto the grassy plains that were for some reason filled with fireflies. There was the scent of another wolf clear in the air, but she did not let it bother her. She was beyond caring anymore.
She slumped down in the grass, a cloud of dust billowing out around her. She closed her eyes slowly as each blade of grass slowly fuzzed and turned grey. Although her eyes were closed, she would not allow sleep to over come her. She had seen it many times, a wolf lay down to sleep and did not wake up. And she could smell water. She lifted her head slightly, her eyes slowing opening and searching the ground.
Getting to her paws, she found it in a muddy puddle a few bounds away. She walked slowly over, her muscles straining from the lack of food and energy. After what seemed like forever, she reached the puddle, and once more flopping down beside it, she drank and drank…

Dina rolled over, still layed down she lifted her head up. A new wolfs sent had come into the air, she turned her head to one side, they where moving slowly and seemed to have stopped. She stood up and streched, starting to jog over to where the sent was coming from. Dina rarley tired, thanks to her hightened staminer and speed. Her other sences were also highened, she could see in infra-red when she wanted to. She turned it on a looked forward in the direction of the wolf. She spotted it instantly, a big red wolf shape in the middle of the grass. She headed towards her, walking slower when she got nearer, she turned off her infra-red and stoped. The wolf seemed exausted, and was lying down, she spoke, softley and without harshness. "Hi" She was never good at speaking first, and wasn't sure if the other wolf wanted company.
