Quayhr thrusted herself through the intertwining vines, her lean muscles rippling under the weight of the thick - bramble covered laces. Passing through the line of foliage, she found herself in a clearing, a small clearing, surrounded by more lines of vines and bramble. Whincing, she turned her head to look at her shoulder, a thorn stuck flamboyantly deep inside the blade on her shoulder. Jerking her head, she pulled the thorn out, and got the pleasure of seeing her own blood pour like a waterfall. Turning her head away, she continued with her route, finding a well-worn path in the midst of the plant-life, she padded slowly up towards it. Smiling lightly, she took the path-way.

The obsadian female, with the splash of paleness around her face, was a wolf of blithesome and rhapsodic nature. No, not one of those down-hearted melancholy wolves, who basicly didn't even care for life. That was the very opposite of Quayhr's outlook on life. Treading the silt below, the ebonite female hear a rustle, stopping in her tracks, she lifted up her head. “Who's there? ” , she called out. Without even a second thought, she raced to the shrubs, and put her head down, trying to scent any exotic aroma that lifted through the air. Nothing. Somewhat plaintive, she trotted away. Her charcoal banner wavering upwards.

Once finding a nice spot, she settled on her haunches, and looked up to the dark sky. The stars above shimmered below, dappling her pelt with the manipulations of the star's dances. Sighing, a sigh of contentment, she waited quietly. Her breathing almost inaudible. Right now, more than anything she needed some company, she hated being alone, by herself. Swishing her tail, she let out a quick whine, telling the other wolves she was here, and ready to embrace them with her jocund attitude.

TOPH SAYS

Cunning, swift, so in tune with what she loved. The earth. Fire-like pelt began to melt upon her as it ended in its bristle after the 'daily-stretch', getting adrenaline running through her system. All she knew was her own home- she figured... Time to get the hell out of here. The beta did her duties, and did them well. But lately the lands were awful quiet- and it got awful lonely during those terribly silent sounds. She was going through SOCIAL Withdrawals or something. And she needed civilization, people, something.
And here it was. A pretty little wolf all on her own. What better to do currently, then to stalk her? Of course she did it, with no rough or harsh intentions. And if she asked who was there, Toph wouldn't let her down with no response. So for a while she silently kept on the track this strange 'ess went on, being stealthy. It would seem, if you were to... let us say, watch this scene, you would figure Toph was hunting Quayhr! No, of course not. Toph merely wanted to see what she was up to. She gave a toothy grin to no one imparticular, eyes narrowing as she quickly disapeared from behind Quayhr, into the brush.
She looked down every so offen, waltzing over a twig that may snap. Toph could be the perfect spy if she weren't so outspoken, but she was very, very quiet when she wanted to be. She let the smallest of breathes release from her system, blinking it off and continuing to linger on her trail from the side. "Whose there?" And about to respond, she saw the wolf make a wild rush for the nearest bunch of bushes. Toph, thankfully- wasn't at the side of her, but towards the back a bit- and to her advantadge, the wind was blowing towards her rather then away. She blinked as the wolf sat on her haunches and stared at the sky.
So why dont you join her? Dont mind if I do. Tophs haunches set themselves as she lunged out of the brush, lobes flattening to avoid the twigs that wanted to shred them so. They revolved around the top of her skull and she smiled, "Of course you're not alone on this beautiful night, you're anything but alone- even if I wasn't here." Her voice suggested nothing, though her body language proved she was to show only peaceful intentions. She had no reason to harm the ess. "Call me Toph, stranger." Her voice was smooth and crisp as she placed a single paw forwards. "Mind if I join you?" And Toph quietly let it at that.

Pfft. Not. :D

In Character

Her neck fur pricked up slightly as she whirled to see what had just bounded out of hiding. Quayhr was not the one to get surprised easily, and you could easily say she wasn't surprirse calmly, she studied the female for a second, before carefully picked words to say. “Well, now I guess I'm not alone, that is.”, she said softly, but will a prideful air. Nodding her head to take in notice of Toph, she continued on, “Nice to meet you Toph, and I'm Quayhr, if you didn't know that already.”

Quayhr smiled lightly as she saw the fae move around a bit. By her looks, and the way she acted, if seemed as if Toph did not mean much harm. By harm, meaning she was trying to kill Quayhr or something. Flicking her tail slightly, Quayhr continued with the wolf, “Oh, and of course you can join me. Make yourself at home.” The agouti female would of pointed out a place for Toph to sit more comfortably, but maybe the wolf was more comfortable were she was sitting already.

TOPH SAYS

It was evident Toph didnt know who the female was- as she had called her 'Stranger' with intention of letting her know she was clueless as to what her name was. But she didn't mind the 'ess being specific. Whatever let her sleep well at night. She knew the wolf wasn't insane.
So her company wasn't minded? Good. She would make herself at home, moving closer towards Quayhr. "Pretty name, surely it means something?" One to assume. She watched Quayhr and now sat upon her rump, tail easing over right haunch keeping it warm. It was evident by her stench, she was of a different pack. And Toph had more muscle on her, too- because of all the times she climbed up the Falls to check out the view. And the view showed all.
Silence eased itself around them and Toph wasn't one to reject no sound. But a comet dashed across the sky and Toph closed her eyes making a tiny wish. Nothing big, just to take over the world. Hah, not really. Tophs green eyes turned to face Quayhr. "Beautiful night, ain'it? Haven't seen a night like this in quite the time." Breaking the silence wasn't all that hard, Toph was used to talking to her own alpha so talking to others wasn't as intimidating. Even if they were a threat to her life. Toph was rarely intimidated by things, but that was just her.

Quayhr wasn't the one to judge, no she wasn't that kind of wolf. But, there was a few things that did make her kind of 'iffy' at times, one of which was wolves from other packs. Sure, she wouldn't go out of her way to slaughter them, if even she could. Quayhr was dangerously loyal. And it was clearly evident that Toph was from another pack, Devil's Fall. And Quayhr? Venteux Ridge. Through this infomation was not aquired by verbal speaking, it was gotten by the exotic aroma Toph secreted. It occured in the sable wolf's mind if maybe the female actually did mean some sort of harm to Quayhr, or her pack.

Trying not to show any worry, she concealed it with her calm persona. “My name? I don' t really know if it means anything actually.”, she stated. Her parents didn't have a chance to tell her. She didn't know what happened to her parents really, she knew they didn't die, but they were gone...

Her sob thought story was broke as a comet darted through the air, it's tail flaming out in a ruddy orchard hue. It was breath taking, stunning really. Meeting the gaze the emerald eyed' wolf's gaze with her own, she simply replied; “Yeah. Indeed it is a beautiful night.”

“This is fun and all, but let's go do something.”, she added adruptly. Standing upright, she flicked her tail and started a trotting a little ways, up the knoll. “Let's go walk.”, swiftly she pawed up the silt. Putting one apendage forth, she motioned for Toph to follow her. With her back against the starlight, she wondered if the female who go for it.
