Dmitri was starting to just get used to this packlife thing. He'd never really been one; there really were no packs up where he was, neither was the food. Though, over time other wolves started to venture, and the food started to stay near, Dmitri never really had the heart to leave his family and join a pack. Well, now he was in one. It hadn't even really been a complete day yet, and he was already overwhelmed. What was he to do? Was he to go out and catch food for the pack, like he did for his family? Was he to go out and help out some way? SItting around made him nervous, Dmitri was made for working.

The large male began to walk back and forth in anxiety. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to do. Doing doing made him feel useless. So, to pass the time, he began to track some food. A nice hare was nearby, he could smell it. His nose was to the ground, and his feet began to carry him to the source of the smell. So far, it was a success. The trail was close, and his speed was perfect. Though, when he spotted the hare ahead, the male stopped dead in his tracks. It didn't seem right to just hunt. What if he wasn't allowed to yet? He couldn't just eat up all the pack's food. So instead, the male heaved a sigh and paced some more.

Looking fairly amused by this grey/brown colored male, she was heavily interested in what he was doing at the moment. He had been pacing for what seemed like forever. But, he just didn't seem to be doing anything worthwhile. The Phocaea didn't know what the heck the boy was doing and decided to watch a see what he was up to. You never knew with the male counterparts these days. They pull surprises and in the end, you cannot ever trust one anymore. So demanding and so surprising that you don't know which ones are the ones you can trust. Seeing his eyes resting on a hare that wasn't too far off, she laughed mentally to herself while rolling her eyes. She wanted to see what he was going to do. Considering she hadn't really met him yet and that he was looking rather hungry. She was curious to see if out of starvation if he would go hunting without permission or if he would patiently wait and starve himself. Either way, she wasn't sure what she would prefer. She didn't like her members weak and unhealthy.
"You know... the hare isn't going to stay here for long," she whispered, her voice sounding like the wind was talking so softly. She emerged very slowly from the chorus of the wind in the bushes and stared intently at the lad. "Solvein Phinias," she answered with a tip of her muzzle and a quirk of her brow. She was waiting patiently for his insert of a greeting and a submission. He could hunt it if he wanted but lets see if he was hungry enough to ask to go get the hare himself. She wasn't hungry at all so it would all be his to eat.

The male's pacing was interupted by a growl in his stomach. But this wasn't was made him stop and look up. No, it was a feamale, asking him questions. Yeah, in fact he knew teh ahre wasn't going to stay long; but he hoped it would go away fatser, so he didn't have to smell and see it so close. "I know ma'am." He said politely, lowering his head. "I don't want to just hunt without permission. I am new you see, and I don't want to break any rules." His eyes never looked into her own; they stayed on the ground, afraid of what would happen if he looked up. Would she be angry with him? Would he be punished? Man, packlife was hard.

With the mention of her own name, Solvein, Dmitri kept his head low, but moved his eyes slowly upward. She was a nice looking black female, with a rather interesting scar across one of her eyes. Seeing her position, he knew she had to have been quite important. "Dmitri Razum." he said lowly.

The ivory phocaea was in no rush to hurt the boy or punish him at all. He was fere to leave and run after the hair as he wished. She wouldn't just make the boy live in constant fear of her if he was to be in her pack. No, she would just need to make him a bit stronger, that was all. It wasn't that hard a deal, considering that he seemed rather fidgety... what with her rank and not daring to be at all challenging, she decided that she'd give him a bit of a perk up. "Come now, I'm not that cruel a lady... you look weak," yes, she was one to not beat around the bush, "look me in the eyes and tell me that your stronger than this." She was pretty ruthless when it came to her pack members. But he would need it.
Dmitri Razum? Interesting in the least, she was curious if he, perhaps, had been around here for long. She was strangely curious as to why wolves from 'around' these parts seemed to stop right here in the Falls to stay. "I take it that you might not be from around here?" she questioned, quirking a brow intently, as if she expected the boy to do a few flips in the air for her. Finally sitting down, she felt her scarred eye feel a strange burn before she opened her eye back up to stare at the male in contentment.

His assumptions were correct ofher; she was the Alpha indeed. Though, her questions were in the least very queer. Why was she asking if he was stronger than this? Had he done something weak? Looking rather confused, he figured she was testing him. If he was storng, he could ignore the rabbit? "I suppose so, Ma'am." He said simply, still rather confused. "I don't think you are mean at all. Well, I wouldn't know. I have never been in a pack." He weas starting to loosen up. Maybe if she knew he had never done this before, she'd understand why he was so, awkward and fidgety.

His tail made its way between his legs. He didn't know why, it seemed to have a mind of its own at this point. "I lived kinda far from here. It was far enough to have scarce food and population." He explained. Maybe she was wanting to know where he came from, so she could like tell him to go away. He had no idea what to expect of her, truthfully. "I traveled here when my family died. My mom told me before she died to take care of myself; so, Miss Solvein, I am here to try and do that. For her."

Stephy Says
Rawr, my first post. Meanwhile everyone else has practicly 10352975365 compared to me. Ok, over-exaggerating.

TOPH SAYS

Tophs paws hit the ground- red pelt bristleing as the wind toyed with its glorious colors. She was full of reds, browns, and blacks- yet, the most noted thing upon her whole bodice was those... delictable LIMES for eyes. You could notice her, from a mile away. There was no way in hell you could miss a girl like Toph- and not just because of her image. The graceful femme fatale trodded lighter now as she was overhearing conversastion. And Toph never was one to intrude when she knew nothing of what was going on.

Yet, she heard Solveins voice as clear as a whistle, her heart beating against her cheast. She stayed a bit away, not wanting to be seen- but wanting to hear. The other voice, was a male. But who? Hmm, there were plenty of males... Plenty. Most likely to win over dear Solveins heart, and become alpha male- no doubt. Her eyes narrowed. Toph was no where in this picture- not that she cared. She didnt need the stress of spring. With that, her tail flicked. Dmitri Razum. Mm, intriguing name. She wanted to stretch forth and whisper- what does it mean? A name as deep as that certaintly had a meaning. Yet Solvein asked no such thing. She huffed and withdrew her body- still listening.

He's never been in a pack? How impossible. Yet he seemed easily bendable- easy and quick to be whipped right intah shape. And now- now Toph entered the scene slowly- for she heard the breathe of words to come- and there they were. He was living for his mother. Basicly, was the jist of it in Tophs eyes. Which was quite cute- but not what it took to be strong. Yet Toph wouldn't point this across- she was sure he could become strong in a matter of moments if Toph had anything to do about it. Toph, if anything, was not as soft as Solvein. She wasn't harsh, but she was strict and... over-thought things. And now her smooth voice careened over the bushes, a mere purr. "Solvein, Dmitri." Her own greeting as she submitted to her alpha. She turned towards Dmitri, and spoke her own words. "Toph Rayzrleaph." Yes, Rayzrleaph was how its spelt. She had no lisps. And would say no more until she was spoken to.
