Shato's boredom was on the rise, and her hunt for entertainment or simple interaction with others was becoming more acutely focused. Since meeting Shakespeare and a female named Drama, Shato had done very little to encourage her inner social butterfly. Not to say that she was entirely upset by this, because she was certainly not the neighborly type. It just felt like the days were slowly but surely melding together to form one boring, indistinct life, without surprises or adventures, friends or enemies. Enemies! She needed a few of those.
Regardless, Shato had not intentionally begun the day looking for potential contenders and foes. In fact, she had hoped to escape another day without crossing paths with another wolf. Her desire to collaborate was not too terribly dire yet, and with any luck she wouldn't have to initiate a very deep and resounding heart-to-heart with anyone any time soon, that is, if such a feat was even possible for the young Cybeles. She had horrible luck however, and her dastardly plan to continue the unhealthy exercise of solitary confinement was about to be squashed. She caught the stranger's scent a bit too late to pursue the art of caution and high-tail it out of there.
The heave of her shoulders and exaggerated sigh said it all as she approached, and suddenly her attitude dimmed. She was cursed - plain and simple. Still, meeting someone new didn't have to be a total loss. Shato could certainly make up for the adventures she was missing, so long as the new wolf was the least bit exciting. And not only that, but the stranger's smell tickled her memory and made her think vaguely of home - Venteux Ridge. It was possible that she could have bumped into a member she had not yet met. "Hola Wolf-o
"I know we haven't met before, but you smell familiar. Venteux Ridge by any chance? Or should I run away now before I make myself-"
'or you' "-out to be a fool?" Wow, she felt talkative today. Shato figured that was more words to this stranger than in most of her previous conversation with Shakespeare or Drama. Her lips pulled back in a half smile as she trotted up toward Lucian, pausing just a few feet away.
