1-2 others, please.
His dreams were tinged black, fading in the corners as he rushed through the dusk after the scent of his brother, which was tainted with the sharp smell of blood not his own. Blind fury was all he could see through his brown eyes, fueling him on as he went through the chase. He did not tire, he did not thirst, and he hungered for nothing more than sweet revenge. His twisted bastard of a brother had murdered their father — and he would most certainly pay.

He caught up with the dark form of Rascal, and took no hesitation to launch himself onto his larger brother's back. They twisted in a deadly dance, each trying to gain the upper hand. Eventually, Russell found his window, and shot in with a nimble thrust of his brown head and fastened his teeth on his traitorous brother's throat. He watched the fire in those golden eyes bleed out, and tasted the tang of blood as his life bled away...

And he woke up. He still tasted blood — he seemed to have bitten his lip while dreaming. Grumbling a curse for having that dream again, he shifted into an upright position, stretching feline-like before gazing around. He had decided to spend the night here in the Crescent Wood (it was only a short ways away from his home), and now it was early morning, and the rest of the world was beginning to wake up as well. He yawned, shaking his head to dislodge the uneasy remnant of the dream, and watched the morning.

Out Of Character

Yo. :·o

In Character

The sky burned like red-hot coals as the sun slowly rised upward, slowly and surely, all signs of night disapeared. Virdian grass swayed peacefully as a southern wind rustled their emerald stalks. Lemon hued eyes burned even more brightly then the sun itself, or so it would seem. Padding out of the early morning shadows, a female wolf edged off between the forest's trees and grasses. Making a well-worn path. A stoic look of peacefulness was laced across her features as she thrusted herself through out the grass, turning and wending at random directions. Her tail flickered slightly as a familar aroma caught her acute senses. You see, Quayhr was a sanguine wolf no doubt, she was fond and euphoric with other wolves, she enjoyed the company really. With a mirthful smile, she treaded the loam with a swifter pace. As soon as she reached the end of the exotic scent, she stopped in her tracks. Yes, indeed, it was another wolf. Careful not to get mixed up with the wrong sort of wolf, she watched for his reactions.

Some mumbles, with odd cursings slewed in. With the sun's early rays dancing playfully 'cross her back, she put one apendage outside of the shelter of the foilage, soon her whole frame was in site. Gulping, she cheerfully spoke to the wolf, “...Hello, nice morning isn't it? I'm Quayhr by the way.”, stealing a look at the wolf, she could tell that he was a melancholy sort. Carefully, Quayhr sat down. Studying what the wolf would say next. Hopefully, there wouldn't be any sort of dangerous activtives this morning.

ooc; this is BLEH. :] Y'all just lucky you met the cute little nice Erida.

Ic;

A slender, peppery female walked unto a sad scene. Two wolves, sitting in the woods... one looked to be in a hell of a tizzy, with his lip bleeding slightly. While the other, she recognized carried the scent of a Ventuex Ridge wolf, looked a bit more cautious but otherwise friendly. One female, one male. Oh how cuuuute, she sneered to herself thoughtfully, still concealed in the bracken, carefully watching them. They didn't appear to know each other, she decided, because it explained the female's —whose name was apparently Quayhr— wary ways. Plus, the male smelled like the Devil's Fall pack, which was her own. She couldn't quite place his name though... Rusty, Russet, Rumble... Se knew it started with an R, but the rest was obscure.

Her fiery tangerine eyes narrowed glided out from the thicket. No one could really say that her appearance was all that exquisite, but the morning sunrise did a wonder on her face, which looked torn between smiling and boredom. From here, she got a better looked at the pair, which she gave a curt nod. Then, she circled around, plopping herself in between them. "You should know better than to call a pow wow with out me. Shame, shame." she giggled innocently, rolling her eyes, glancing at the sexy looking male from her pack.

"I'm Erida by the way. Though I can't exactly pin a fancy title to it, so you'll just have to make due with Erida," she said, her eyes rolling away from Russel. Blame her for being so forward, but she wasn't the least bit shy. Hell, for all she cared she could have just thrown herself off a cliff. What a thrill that would be. Erida was not a dare-devil, but she was pretty damn close. Double dog dares were her specialty.

The sun began to rise on a typical day in the Unclaimed Lands, well, it couldn't be classified as typical yet, but it was sure boring enough already. Erida had gone out of the main packlands to hunt this morning, and no quarry had yet been found. Finally, she had stumbled across these two in the woods. The thought of breaking the silence of her morning brightened her mood greatly, so she welcomed a bit of conversation. Though, she hope to god none of these wolves around her had some sort of attitude that they'd like to toss around society. She was done with the silver tongued fools.

Out Of Character

Hate to break the order, but I think we need to get tis' thread moving. ;3

In Character

Bristling soft fur that reached way down to the very roots, leaching into her flesh. Quayhr's fur lenght, was not all tha dense, but more wire-like. Her coat color was a embracing mixture of darks and lights. The fae's under coat like a freshly laid blanket of snow, with speckles of brown, scattered helter-skelter. Her skull was a chocolate blend, mixed with ebons and creams, topped off with a patch of light silvery white on her chin. Her ears were keyed and perked, always alert for any audible or barely audible sound. A earnest grin was laced across her features. Lemon yellow eyes were what brought the most attention to her face. Going down her spine, there was a strip of sienna, mixed with a whole rainbow of shades, mostly dark murky colors, ashens and charcoals. The femora's whole frame was pretty much covered with what color was on her back. She had long limbering legs, and a rather long tail, that was dappled with silver flecks.

She was beautiful and proud of it.

Sure, you could have good looks, but you had to have a attitude to match it right? Right. And Quayhr, personally had one of the best personas around. She was altruistic and benevolent one hundred percent of the time, if you cound those few times were she had a fit. But, rarely did she get ill-mannered. Through there were a lot of easy-on-the-eyes, but they didn't have a wonderous temper.

True beauty came from the heart - anyway.

You see, Quayhr just really hated those 'weee look at me, I'm a pretty wolf' kinds. They were down right annoying and supercilious bastards. It was mostly the females, not the brutes who did it.

- - - - - >

Shaking her head out of a sort of trace, her golden eyes flitted to the next wolf, who arrived seemingly out of no where. Padding closer to to the female, she noticed a strange hue to her eyes, orange. How odd. Hoping this certain wolf wasn't one of those 'lofty sorts', she was glad for the company anyhow. “You should know better than to call a pow wow with out me. Shame, shame.”, the new female giggled. “I'm Erida by the way. Though I can't exactly pin a fancy title to it, so you'll just have to make due with Erida,” she added. It was Quayhr's turn to roll her eyes. Oh boy..., she thought coldly.

< - - - - -

“Pleasure to meet you - Erida. Pretty name by the way.”, the sienna fae retorted lowly. But, without a tone that sounded even slightly ticked off.

The sun was now in full swing, it's rays sparkling in the eyes of it's antagonists. Yes, the antagonists, the ones who stole it's life giving energy. Squinting slightly, the female aimed for a better look at the new arriver.

“So, what brings you out here this early in the morning?”
