The Chatterbox
Strange, odd, bizarre, and generally confusing topics and randomness should ensue here! (With the occasional seriousness thrown in, if you must.)

Venteux Ridge
The highest peak for miles, Venteux Ridge is a mountain. The top is always capped in snow, the temperature declining progressively the higher you climb. The terrain is rocky and uneven, and trees are sparse even in the lower altitudes. Any vegetation is a rarity, and splotches of pale wildflowers flung about the mountain like paint from an artist's brush are the only constant.

Devil's Fall
The smaller of the two packlands, Devil's Fall is simply the green area betwixt the mountains and Crescent Wood including the waterfall it is named for. The falls were perhaps ironically named, for on a foggy day it appears as if the tip of the waterfall has been swallowed by the sky and not the ground. The climb upwards is steep and jagged, and rocks lie beneath the tumultuous water instead of soft sand.

Crescent Wood
Bordering Earthshine Creek in an almost perfect arc, Crescent Wood lives up to its name. Tall oaks and ancient sycamores stretch in gnarled twists and turns towards the sky. The underbrush is dense and it is very easy to get lost betwixt the mountainous foliage. Once you get past the gloom, however, it can be a very wondrous sight.

Moonlight Knoll
More mountain than hill, Moonlight Knoll is only slightly smaller than a mount but more curved than typical. To put it simply, it's just a big hill. The grass is long and lush and wild, and sunflowers grow up from the ground during the summer, dark yellow mingling with the pastel shades of the other flowers. There are hardly any trees in the area, and Earthshine Creek runs right beneath the hill, a natural, underground tunnel.

Chispear Lake
Tapering out from beneath the shadow of Moonlight Knoll sits a vast, flat meadow marred only by a few stray trees. Sitting right in the center is an almost perfectly circular lake, perfect and pristine in every way. Small wild flowers frame the water, and the distant mountains cast picturesque reflections upon the surface. A small tributary, Glacier Brook, from the mountains feeds the lake, only obvious until it disappears and dwindles betwixt the Red Oak Forest.

Midnight Peak
Only slightly small than its bordering mount, Venteux Ridge, Midnight Peak is made of a darker mineral, hence its name. Its peak is shrouded by a seemingly constant cluster of ominous clouds, and reports of lightning and thunder seen above on a perfect, sunny day are heard frequently. Perhaps the only tale that is heard more than bizarre weather is of ghosts -- but it's all nonsense, of course.
