Tech Boarder Tutorial

In this tutorial you will learn haw to make a Professional Tech Boarder.

Ok, Let's get Started.

1.
Open the image on wich you would like to do your Boarder.
I used the fallowing one:

2.
Select your Lasso Tool and make a Selection Like that:

Be as much Creatif you can....

3.
Press CTRL+Shift+I to Invert the Selection.

4.
Now go to Edit then Fill with 5b5b5b like this:

Now Go to Layer then Layer Style and Put The Fallowing Options.

Use The Metalic color You wish on the Gradient Overlay

This is What it Should look Like:

Now Zoom In and Select your Eraser Tool (E)
and load your Tech Brushes and start erasing.
I won't show you all details.... just cut out the way you want.
This is what i am Done:

Also you can add Colors to your Boarder by going to Layer then Layer New Adjustement
and this is what i am done:

very nice tutorial...how many px by px is the pattern and can you please leave the HEX's for the colors used on the pattern too

Well dude, the pattern is simple Scan Lines used. i used black side scan lines pattern.... you can chose wich ever you want dot's anything....

about the gradient you can chose your own option because i used that only for the tutorial... but you can chose your patern and your gradient....

This is why i didn't ....

Good, haw ever be More Creatif by erasing or cuting out your boarder... Look my Current Signature.... this took me 5mins whole my boarder.... because i know haw to do it fast... but try to do better next time :).

here's mine, im not too much of a tech fan so i didnt tech it up so much
and i thought that the boarder looked pretty cool grey so i left it

Heh, this has nothing to do with the graphics, but might I ask what font and what filters/if-any you used on that text on the screenshots. ^_^

And yeah, the outcome is nice. Especially the border on your current signature, pwns. I learned how to do this awhile back, but that was in my Paint days, so it wasn't as good. :P
