The Eternal Forest
Starting by the First as the main defense of the village, the forest is given it's name for being the large enough to see from space. The forest extends out about 80 mi in diameter with the actual village being somewhere near the center.

Haitsuchi Village
A large civilian village which exists about 20 mi to the east of the Eternal Forest. The tiny village is a major economic place, with most of the trading in the country taking place in a large market four times a year. Depends on the Leaf village to protect and govern it.

Suijouki City
Suijouku City aka Steam City is the techonological center for the entire Fire Country and most likely the entire world. Here in the borders of this city was the birthplace of steam power which is currently undergoing a small revolution associated with it.

Village Hidden Among the Sand
Sunagakura or The Village Hidden Among Sand, also known as Suna, is one of the five great ninja villages. Lead by the Kazekage, Sunagakure has fallen on rough times between its plateaued peaks. Much of the village is carved out of the terrain and a perimeter keeps the sandstorms from disrupting village life.

Expanse of Tears
The desert between inhabited lands which is still claimed by the land of Wind has become particularly dry. Periodically when it actually rains, small streams and creeks appear in beds which have long since been disguised by the dunes giving the appearance that the land is crying.

Village Hidden in the Mist
Kirinokage, nicknamed the Bloody Mist, was always one of the villages with the darkest heritage. They used to be the place where the ninjas were desensitized to killing at an early age. However due to problems in the war they were crippled early on and have spiraled into a horrible economic depression.

Shinkirou
The biggest island in the chain is also the island where the Village is located on. Constantly surronded by mist with lots of natural sea barriers, this place is a very good defensive position.

The Grand Ocean
Mist Village, being constantly surrounded by water have learned to preform on water combat over time. This means that they take their ocean security very seriously, they control most of the area around them however this stranglehold has lessened.

Village Hidden in the Stone
A forshaken village which is barely functioning at this point. In a great valley sandwiched between mountains. The place where the village used to be was actually a mountain at one time but it was widdled down, bit by bit, year by year until they descended into the valley. Now the village is in shambles unable to really sustain themselves.

Joukuu Mountains
A massive mountain trail which surronds the village on all sides. The mountains are incredibly high and most of them have snow on the tips year round. They are difficult to get through without previous knowledge or even someone's help. They are the villages main defense and are probably the only reason why the village still exists.

Rifaca Region
To the south of the actual Rock Village is the Rifaca Region. This region is nothing more then a savanna with the occasional person living on it. It has been war torn since the beginning of time and probably will stay that way until the end of it. People here have the genetics of having slightly darker skin then the rest of the world.

Forgotten City
Known as the Forgotten City because it seems the Earth's downtimes have "forgotten" this part of the world. The small city is filled with lights, gold, and other high buildings and structures. The city is built only for the noblemen and it tends to get a large portion of government funds.

Village Hidden in the Clouds
The Lightning Country's grand jewel of their military might. The village Kumoga rests comfortably attached to the sides of mountain-like spires that stretch into the misty clouds, giving the village its name. The village has become the primary headquarters for the current ruling regime called the Kaijin.

Shigonoshi City
This is the economic hub of the north. All of Lightning Country's sells come thorugh this city which lies in the cradle of the five peaks. Protected naturally by rough stony hill expect for the narrow passages and man made by stone walls that guards each entrance. This is also the imperial seat for the nation and her empire. May her judgment be sound.

Hibana Village
The stone-paved path that goes through the middle of the village is scarred with the weight of the carts that have passed over it. Many of the greater regular shinobi come from this village. It is located in a very electrical position which is why this village also contains the Lightning plant Which uses wind and static electricity to produce high voltage power for the Shigonoshi City. Kumo sometimes send shinobi here to increase the electrostatic field and help maintain the magnetic poles.

Garasu Shores
As the name implies glass-making is a prevalent trade here at the shores of Lightning country. Many use the incoming storms and metal rods to solidify raw glass which from there they take and melt it down again and sculpt it into weapons like hari senbon, which is glass needles. There are also where someone can learn of a glass style from the people that walk these northern beaches.

Village Hidden by the Sound
Only recently occupied, Otogakure's autonomy is still largely maintained by Sound personal, but it is decidedly subjugated by the Lightning shinobi. The air here is subdued and military presence is noticeable.

Okitaru Port City
Okitaru port city was one of the first to fall in the Lightning invasion. Though they were the first to fall they had already had much support for the occupation. With three long docks which allows several small transport ships and fishing ships to dock and one large dock built during Lighthing's sea military occupation. There are several of the large ships that are docked here. This port is protected by large rock walls put in place around it forming an artificial bay with a tall lighthouse on one side of its single opening.

Oonami Shores
This is the shores that make the C-turn into the territory of Rice. This beach is the more pleasantly tempered and is often used as a retreat and due to its mile wide beach and its tightly packed sands make it a good route of transportation until reaching the rougher northern end of the beach. This beach slowly comes to an end as it reaches the Okitaru port city of Rice territory.
