pff they made their own original characters and storys the website has always been free I don't see anything wrong with making and selling a video game. why shouldn't they make some money off of what they love to do? I'm surprised that any revinue from their gift shop kept the website up

'Selling out refers to the compromising of one's integrity, morality and principles in exchange for money, 'success' or other personal gain.'
That's how Wikipedia defines a sell out, what they are doing here is making a game with the intent to sell it which is not at all selling out. If they were to start charging for what currently is free they would be selling out, but they aren't so relax and stop with crazy accusations.
Personally i think it's great when someone succeeds like this, made props to them all and may their first game be a masculine game.

I'm just messing around. Honestly, I can't see the Homestar series in anything beyond mini-games-Their stories, dialog, and everything are so freaking random, it'll be interesting to see how they keep the plot together. And how the game plays. And...Hell, how they turn it into a game at ALL. So long as the game stays true.

Remember, Aqua Teen Hunger Force made a game. If they can take a concept like ATHF and turn it into a game, then I'm sure Homestar will too.
