forks high has an upcoming field trip! more details will be announced closer to the time!
march, 7th - grizzly attacks
two hikers were found mangled and badly disfigured up in the mountains only forty minutes away from forks. police aren't commenting at this time but one officer did mention that it's highly assumed the cause of this tragic accident is the grizzly bears getting closer to town - police are asking public to postpone any hiking trips until the humane society is able to trap and relocate the bears.

forks high
high school, the one thing no one can seem to escape no matter how hard we all try. whether you fit in with the labels, or you're labeled by your peers, you're there to keep up with your grades and meet new friends. what they don't mention is the abundance of drama that lines the halls, and the whispers that pass by at an alarming rate. try and keep your head up, and yourself focused on the real reason you're forced to go.

forks police department
undeniably the safest place in forks - chief swan pretty much runs this place. thanks to him and his co-workers, forks is usually a pretty safe place. let's just hope if you visit here, you're simply reporting something, or maybe visiting your dad. the station its self is a little cluttered with a few too many desks crammed into the station (all of them laden with paper work.), and a 6X6 cell in the corner that is rarely ever used.

forks general hospital & er
broken bone? minor heart attack? whatever the reason, the hospital is the place to help, and hopefully heal you. let's hope it isn't such an extreme situation for the reason of your visit, but no matter, the staff will fix you up nicely, and as much as they possibly can - with dr. cullen, there shouldn't be any worries!

town of forks
rain, clouds, gloom, and rare sun. that's what you get, and can expect about three hundred and sixty days of the year. occasionally the sun can be seen peaking through the clouds- whatever you do, don't take it for granted, it doesn't happen often. though it's small and isn't the best shopping choice, you can find the necessities of life, as well as a few other things.

shopping district
don't get excited , seriously, it's not much. since forks is such a small town, it's not much of a wonder there are only family owned businesses lining the down town streets. it's rather quaint, and cozy, but with the rain it's got a rather dreary feel. 'newton's sports and goods' is always a great place to shop and find exactly what you need! however, the shopping district also homes 'ann's old fashioned flowers' if you're looking for an anniversary gift, or just a little something special. who knows, with the handfuls of locally owned shops, you're bound to find what you're looking for!

the park
ask any of the kids in forks, this is their favorite spot to be. with huge swings, slides and a jungle gym, it's any child's dream. though with the rain, it's often left unused due to the fact most parents don't want to bundle their children up to go to their park in the rain and mud - it's just not worth it. the forks' park also backs onto the forest when you walk deep enough.

hoh rain forest
the hoh rain forest is possibly one of the most beautiful things around, though, it can also be incredibly dangerous. being one of the largest rain forests in the world, a few things are assumed to be lurking - most of which wouldn't even logically suggest werewolves, or vampires, but it's a little sad how utterly clueless the people around are. some have died in the forest which has been blamed on the bears, but could also be due to the bobcats and cougars. only a scattered few really know what killed those people.

the homes
everyone needs a place to live, and here is where you can find it. with such a mixed community you get an awfully large assortment of houses, some are little and tacky, others - more hidden houses are immaculate and beautiful. if you need a home, this is where you'll find it.

quileute indian reservation
looking for a leech free place? well, you've finally found one - but if you're clueless to the races around you like most of the forks, and la push people are, you're still screwed and are going to have to deal with them. the indian reservation is one of the most beautiful places with it's sandy beaches, and homey feels.

homes of la push
if you're not living reservation, chances are you're houses are along the roads, or possibly over looking some of the cliffs. sadly, one thing about la push is that they don't have any hotels, or bed and breakfasts, so if you're looking for a temporary place to stay, it looks like you're heading up to forks.

are you one of those really buff and tall tan boys? this is where you're going to be spending the your four high school years here, unless you fail and have to do five or six. anyways, this is where you need to fulfill your academic shit, so do so.

first beach
first beach is a beach located down in la push, washington. this beach is pretty popular among the residences in la push. it's a spacious beach and a great place to come down to if you're in some need of relaxation or some partying.

the woods
thick trees, lots of elk, deer and plenty of other animals. did we mention werewolves? yes, lots of werewolves patrolling the area making sure none of the blood suckers cross over along with any other creatures of the night and predators. with the wolf patrol, it's easily one of the safest places around

the cliff tops
they range, you've got your incredibly high, high, and average, all ranging depending at what area you're at. personally, it's not suggested to go cliff jumping, but especially at the incredibly high heights, unless maybe you can heal inhumanly fast, i bet it might hurt a little otherwise. aside from jumping, the cliff tops supply a very nice view and a spot to sit and think.

town center
in the small little town of la push there is an area located in the center of town that provides you with one or two cafes, a small grocery store, a bar, and a few other holes in the wall. nothing too fancy, but it is a big hit with the townies!

port angeles
up for shopping? a movie? or possibly a restaurant that isn’t mcdonalds or charlie’s preference of the lodge? come to port angeles, there’s nothing you won’t find here. since forks is so -sadly- small and doesn't have much, this is your best bet for a nice day trip if you've still got the fear of seattle hanging around. at the very least, unlike forks, there is always something to do in port angeles.

a rather grungy city but the shopping is fantastic! three hours away from forks it sure isn't a daily trip, but why not go spend the weekend? it's not like anyone's died... yet.

if you want night life or a change of pace - vancouver can certainly help you out. with it's towering buildings, endless amounts of shopping and bountiful amounts of clubs and bars, it's a pretty fantastic place. there is however an abundance of the homeless...
