FAQ

We've compiled this list of frequently asked questions to help you out with anything you might be wondering about. If you have a question, we recommend that you check this page; it might have the answer! If you can't find your question here, feel free to ask the staff.
  • Why do you have cliques?
    - We have cliques so that every character will have a group they belong to, making it easier to fit in and get immediate plotting.
    .
  • Does everyone have to be in a clique?
    - They either have to be in a clique or the ACL, a kind of anti-clique clique for those who either dislike the clique-system or just don't fit in the other cliques.
    .
  • Why is there such an emphasis on racism in this game?
    - That is there both to keep the game as realistic as possible - unfortunately, there is a lot of racism in the world, and in old, conservative communities like Little Jimmy - and to focus on this important issue and spread awareness about it. We feel that the best way to deal with problems isn't to ignore them, but to actively deal with them, and that's what we're trying to do here.
    .
  • Do I have to play a racist?
    - You don't have to play a racist if you don't want to; we're not going to force you.
    .
  • There's a lot of information here; do I have to read it all?
    - No, not everything is labelled "must read", but we recommend that you read at least some of it, as the information is there to help you as a new member to understand Little Jimmy.
    .
  • What is "the Bakery"?
    - The Bakery is a reward-system we've set up to reward those that help the game in different ways, and this ranges from posting with new members, to writing subplots, to plotting with everyone on the site. We have various rewards for those that gather a number of cookies.
    .
  • Why do you give out "cookies" for joining ethnic characters and White Hands?
    - Unfortunately, not many people join characters that aren't white, and we feel that this is a loss to the game, so we do this to encourage you to join these characters. As for the White Hands, we've encountered trouble in the past where everyone wants to be an anti-WH, but no one wants to be a White Hand, which is not only unrealistic considering the state of the town, but also makes the game less interesting.
    .
  • You require a lot of information in your applications; why is this?
    - We do this because we want to see well-developed characters on our game; we want you to really know your characters, all their flaws, weaknesses, strengths, likes and dislikes. We feel that a good starting point makes it easier to play your character well, and it leads to realistic growth and development IC.
    .
  • Some of the admins' applications are insanely long; does my application have to be that long?
    - No, absolutely not. We look at quality, not quantity, but we do want you to give a full description of your character, or at least a whole picture of who he/she is, both for your benefit and for ours. We really want to know your character!
    .
  • Why don't I have access to the White House and Route 66 forums?
    - These forums are closed to members of the Outlaws and White Hands, so in order to gain access there, you must be a member of one of those organizations. Read the resources concerning White Hands and Outlaws to learn more about them.
    .
  • Do I have to post in all the mass-threads?
    - Not all of these threads are obligatory, but we recommend that you do. It's a great way for your character to get into contact with all the other characters, and thus get to know people. That is why we set up these threads, after all.
    .
  • What are the user-group colors?
    -College Student = seagreen
    -Freshman = #086B03
    -Juniors = #3E1E6E
    -Seniors = #5E1224
    -Sophomore = #0A5B62
    -Law Enforcement = #DE0529
    -Lower Class = #D75E94
    -Middle Class = #061654
    -School Staff = #A96618
