Rules and Guidelines

Community Rules

1. Treat others with respect.

2. Moderators and Administrators are the law. Do not fight their decisions.

2a. If you have a problem with a Moderator, take it up with an Administrator privately.
2b. If you have a problem with an Administrator, talk to that Administrator first, then another if necessary.

2bi.It is only necessary to speak to another Administrator if the one in question is not behaving professionally during said talk.

3. This is a role-playing community. While we do hold a general discussion area, we discourage it from becoming a primary location for our members.
3a. The Administrators reserve the right to close the general discussion form without notice.
3b. The Administrators reserve the right to withhold information for said closure.

3bi. Keep in mind that it is unlikely that a withholding of information will occur.

4. Do not ask to become a Moderator. If you ask, you will never be one. Ever. Moderators are chosen by the Administrators, and the position is permanent. It is also based on community members and general community activity.
4a. If a Moderator leaves the community for any reason, the Administrative staff will select a new Moderator based off of member’s community performance.
4ai. See Warning System Rules.

5. The exact same applies to an Administrative position. Administrators, and Administrators alone, may appoint someone to be an Administrator. This is based solely off of the current Administrators’ workload, and if the additional help is required.

6. Warning System Rules

6a. You will notice something next to your username that shows how good you’ve been. Keep it at zero, and you’ll do fine.
6b. One offense does not mean one “point of progression”. A single offense can progress you one step closer to being banned, or it might get you banned first time.
6c. You may decrease your “Warning Points” by being good. However, the staff is not stupid – don’t do it simply for the sake of keeping yourself from being banned, or you will be suspended for a determined amount of time and sufficient “points” will be added to your warning indicator as well.

7. Suspension and Expulsion
7a. Moderators and Administrators will use their own discretion to determine if someone in violation of board policies should be suspended from the community, or expelled.
7b. If the offender has been deemed guilty, the Administrative team must give reason to the offender for banning. Typically, an example of the instance will be made for the rest of the community. The offender will be notified if s/he attempts to log in.
7c. There are no “three strikes and you’re out” rules here. The severity of the offense will determine what will happen to you. (See “Warning System Rules”.)
