He sat there alone in his complex. Whether it be pride or just to remind him of how much rage he felt, he sat there under the crater that had once been his castle. It had been beautiful, reflecting his mind in so many ways, moving to his whim. Now it was gone, and all he had was the few caves that had rested underneath it.

He gripped the arms of his chair roughly. He always did that when he remembered how he had been beaten. Seven knights, he had been beaten by only seven. It was so agravating!

He forced himself to calm down, made his handsome face return to that mask of calmness and arrogance. He must be cool, he must be composed. He had to be if he was going to get revenge on the one who had lived.

He felt a slight pressure and frowned. He knew this feeling. It was from one who was as old as he was, perhaps even a little older.

"Come to taunt me Silias? I'm not in the mood."

"I see that such age hasn't worn you as it has worn your little.... home"

Silias seemed to think of a right word as he appeared in sight, his green hair fell over into a long red holder as it cascaded down his frontal and back view. His red eyes glowered from his face lacking the mask he wore usually to see outside of his range.

"Wonderful work by the way; I should try and find the others to comgradulate them on such a well done job."

He teased the being before him with a dark smirk, his hands running through his hair ever so gingerly.

"Do not mock me godling. My patience is not what is once was."
The man stood up from his chair, revealing a beautiful face surrounded by purple hair. He walked over to Silias and stood before him.
"Hmm. You have changed a bit in the last few centuries."

"Don't we all, Morgai; unlike you I kept my enemies at bay and continue to do so while still torturing them..."

Taking a pieces of the purple locks from the man before him, Silias's smile seemed darker than usual...

"You seem lost in the old ways as always..."

"Do not call me by that name! That name is lost. I am Haine now, and will continue to be so untill my power has become worthy of being called Morgai once more."
Haine batted Silias's hand away from his hair and growled.
"I have watched you Silias. You toy with my nemesis too much. Underestimate him and he will kill you."

"So bitter."

Silias chimed in by the fact he refused such a name, to degrade himself to a mere 'Haine' without a thought.

"Underestimate him? I simply toy; my defences cannot be broken neither can my defence.... unless..,"

Silias seemed to carry a dark face, his eyebrows frowned as his lips turned into a thin line of distaste at the thought; but soon brushed it away as did 'Haine' with his hand.

"But you watch me? I'm flattered, truely."

"Bah, you would be. I mearly do it to pass the time while I gather strength. Still, your actions have bothered me. You gave the halfling a hint that I am still alive. I am not yet ready to handle that one."

Haine smirked at Silias's scowl. Even if he was weakened, he knew that Silias wouldn't kill him. Certain... contracts they had made countless years ago kept them from fighting each other. Mutually beneficial, and it paid off for Haine. Silias was stronger then him now, and he knew that their contracts were probably the only reason Silias didn't crush him right there for his insolence.

"Be wary. That one and his blood seem to grow through adversity. Who knows how strong he and his sister may get. You have already had some problems with her, from what I have seen."

"She has taught my mind almost as many spells as I, myself know... I know for a fact that leaving her free would gain problems."

Silias smirked at the abuse of the lacking tension between the two carried out by Haine as he seemed to enjoy the fact Silias kept himself clear of attacking.

"But a few more problems for you have risen, if you think you can return to your once powerful state without anyone noticing; you're mistaken."

Stepping backwards Silias curved his green hair behind an elvish ear as small silver and red clasps were around the top exterior of his ear.

"I will spend as much time as possible recuporating untill absolutely nescessary. Six of them may be dead, but he yet lives. Not only him, but others have made themselves known. Falke, Harumo, Antarus. This age is filled with several powerful ones. For the weakened it is a time to be wary. I doubt any of those three would leave me alive. I'm sure you yourself have entertained the notion of killing me."

Silias smirked at the comment, a small chuckle rose from his throat as he placed one of his hands thoughtfully under his chin.

"I have indeed entertained the though; you know I've always loved cat and mouse games."

Silias noted on the names spoken by Haine.

"The age isn't filled with strong enemies... simply, allies to be exploited. Anyone can become an ally... just the right need and time."

"Allies indeed. Falke tries to manipulate you, Harumo is too prideful to work under you, and Antarus would fight you for the hell of it. Yes, superb allies." Haine responded dryly. He went back to his chair and sat down.

"My viewing have been rather limited, so I would appreciate it if you would grant me a favor. Did the halfling seem to catch on to your hint, or is he still clueless to my existance?"

"You're using the same meaning from along ago for alley, the strong has to change their meaning when necessry."

"Ragas... catch onto my hints? Obviously he's probably think I was taunting; I can't imagine why.."

A small smirk played on his lips from that comment.

"I use my definition because it is the only definition. You always were too sneaky for your own good. It'll get you killed one of these days."
Haine sighed and leaned back, placing a hand on his forhead as he did so. This conversation was giving him a headache.
"I fear I may have to come on to the scene soon. It is far too early for me to do so, but I will if I must. Heaven, hell, and this universe will be mine. I don't care how long it takes, but it will be mine."

"Get me killed? I'm not the one who was taken down by seven knights my friends,"

Silias said, slightly irritated by the stab at his ego taken by Haine.

"Heaven, Hell and this Universe could be yours, but the day you cross what is mine; you will die."

Haine laughed, he laughed long and hard at Silias underestimation of those seven. At how he could be so blissfully unaware of the force they had unleashed. He was still chuckling even after he had composed himself.
"Individually, they were nothing, but togehter, they released an attack that could have destroyed this world. You wouldn't have survived. I wouln't have either, if the one with the axe hadn't cut off my hand before the fight got serious. As for what is yours, I have no interest in that goddess you are so infatuated with. I don't think I have to worry."

"She's a goddess's charm; her blood is necessary for the ritual I plan. Along with a few others; touch them before I can complete it and I myself will see to the fact of your painful end."

Silias narrowed his eyes at Haine's mockful laugh. A small twitch of a smirk at the sides of his face, Haine truely thought he was a mere 2 dimenional enemy. Surprises, surprises would indeed be instore for this aquaintance of his.

"Wouldn't that be a breach of your contract? I seem to recall soul shattering punishments if either of us raised a hand against the other. Regardless, I won't touch her. Obviously, I'm not going to just sit there if she attacks me, I'm going to need to defend myself. Luckily for you, but unluckily for me, I do not have the power to unleash my ultimate kill technique. That's the only thing that could kill her, or him."

Silias smiled at the fact he spoke unluckily about his technique.

"I still won't be able to wait for the moment I can watch the two of you fight; I sadly missed the battle between you and the knights, I'm such against one it would be rather interesting no less."

With a slight twirl of his hair he scoffed slightly.

"Though, if I can't raise a hand; doesn't mean I can't find other ways to kill you."

"I'm sure you know your lackeys can't kill me. Now, did you come here for any specific reason, or did you just want to see how far I had fallen and laugh at me?"

"More laughing than anything.."
Silias noted with a chuckle.

"Can I come and visit an old friend?"

Sarcasm dripping from his lips as he spoke.

"If by friend you mean two powers bound together through mutual distrust and scheming natures."
Haine took his hand off his forehead and sighed once more. He was doing that too often as of late.
"I'm hardly a threat to you now, even without the contract keeping me from attacking you. I am no longer the god I once was."

"Yet, you plan to be?"

With a perked eyebrow, Silias grew to enjoy it more and more. A small mocking chuckle remained slightly stifled from audibility.

"Oh come on now, it's not fun unless you deny a little bit of it."

Silias said with a bored face, almost impassive.

"Of course, and if I had at least one thousand years more to recuperate then I would be. I would be the dark god Morgai, the one who makes the heavens tremble, he who is blacker then pitch, the betrayer, the foulest of all."
Haine smiled as he remembered those and other titles he had had. He would have them again. He would have it all again, and this time there would be no seven knights to stop him.
