Yerf SeSa Signup Thread for _____

INFORMATION

Here is where you actually sign up to participate in this month's round
of the Yerf Secret Santa! Please DO NOT post your character
information here. Post that to the character database

The signup for this round is open from now until _____. The pieces for this round will be due _____, midnight central time.

On _____ at midnight, this thread will be closed for signups, and become the submissions thread for this month!



RULES

1. If you sign up for that month, you have over one month to
complete your piece. Spend time on this piece. Colored images, or at the very least nicely inked or REALLY detailed pencil works are appropriate, but a ten-minute pen sketch is not. Think about the character, put some thought into the piece, and spend time on the piece. After all, you wouldn't want someone to do that to you, would you?

2. Please don't sign up that month if you feel that you are going to
have a lot of conflicts. If you do not submit your piece by the due date, you will be blacklisted from further participation until you draw the assigned piece. As the signup for the next month closes on the due date of the previous round’s pieces, this means at bear minimum you will have to sit out a month.

3. Every month will have a theme, and even though we're pretty lax about
them, it is meant to provide a bit of a challenge and fun to the assignment. As these are the Yerf boards, to let you experiment with perhaps some new things and see some variation from the standard character sketches over and over again. You are strongly encouraged to follow the theme, but you can be creative with it. ;3

4. IMPORTANT - when you sign up, include your number from the Character Database Thread.


5. You MAY chat in this thread; try to keep it at least somewhat on topic, though.

6. When posting your submission, please include your number - it makes it much easier for recording who's submitted ^_~

7. If you need to ask a question or have problems with the site of the person for whom you are assigned to draw, you can PM GrimmHooke or WindWalker. We'll talk to them for you so that you maintain your anonymity. Please only do this if it is important though, so we don't get flooded. Stupidity will be ignored. :3

8. All art submitted for the SeSa must be new and original! If you happened to draw for your assignment for another reason, such as for the TP or an art trade, then you must draw them a new piece for this. :3 It's a curtesy, folks.

ABOUT ADOPTION

Adoptees are the participating artists who did not receive a piece of art for the month's round due. If you want to help out while waiting for the next round to start or are just plain generous, please pick up an adoptee! This is not a blind drawing or anything - feel free to post and talk out who you want to draw for amongst yourselves (i.e., if you're interested in drawing for one of them post and say so and figure out between yourselves and possibly even the adoptee who is going to do what and then make a final official claim post so it can be added to the list).

Anyone can adopt a person as long as BOTH of you are NOT on the blacklist.

Yes, only those people who also completed their own assignments will
be added to the list. If you didn't receive a piece and were unable to finish your own piece on time, you will be added to the adoptees list once you are removed from the blacklist (once you finish your assignment).
