California is a big enough state but when there had been three schools the area, things were just a little hectic. In a town, almost a small city, three schools sat in a triangle formation only a few roads away from each other. Each school was different in their own way and that was how parents chose which school was best for their child. There was never really rivalries between the three schools because each of them kept to their own business and it never mattered what happened in the other schools.
He was a simple boy, he just liked to have fun He never wanted to be just like his dad was He was a dreamer but he had never had none Who made the most of his life but never had one
The first school was Crest Valley High School, named after the town the school sat in. The school actually was the first school in the area and was opened as a public school. This school was offered to everyone, no matter what situation you were in financially. They wanted everyone to go to the school. Their football team became one of the best in the area through the years, along with one or two other sports teams.
He was a single boy he could never slow down He always wanted to leave but didn't know how He was a dreamer who seemed to never break ground Who spent most of his life in a small town
The next school was Anderson Prep. Anderson was a private school only for those who could afford to go to the school. It did not matter if you were extremely smart because they never gave out scholarships. People wanted to send their children there but when they heard the price, they were turned off by the school. Academically, the school wasn't the best but these people were the rich kids and no one seemed to expect the best out of them any way.
Shake up my life Lets go... Back to the days when we were young and not restless We still believed and hadn't built our defenses I'll tell you one thing's for sure Till we make the decision We'll never take this world Unless we make a head on collision A head on collision
The last school in the area was Pacific Academy. This school was a good boarding school that students from around the country could come. The school took anyone who could pay but scholarships were also awarded to the best and smartest students in the other schools. Academically, the school was one of the top in the area and even in some of the few sports they had, the school seemed to excel at those, too.
And daddy told her she could never have Late night help with her math So she sits crying by the window Every time she gets another A She makes it another day And it's just that simple
In 1989, the town was shocked as Pacific Academy burned to the ground which led to a school board meeting. At the meeting, it was decided that the best thing to do was turn Anderson Prep into a boarding school and send all the children there. After a few renovations, all the students from Pacific Academy were sent to Anderson Prep. Everything seemed to be back on track but when anothing fire happened in 1998, Anderson Prep was no more.
Here they come now Will you come down? Make 'em run now On to the next town Here they come now Let's make 'em run now No time to fake now Everything breaks down
The only thing that could be done was sent the children to Crest Valley High School which some people did not like. The rich sent their children else where as well as the students that were from other countries. Another fire happened in 2000, taking away Crest Valley High School and the town decided to build a boarding school that would be offerred to all the children in the area.
Don't you know There's more to this than we thought 'cause we were never listening We heard it all before but we missed it When all we needed was a head on collision
In 2004, the school was reopened and students from Crest Valley, other states, and other countries started to pour into the school. The school has been opened for three years again but things seem a little uptight with the rich and the poor were housed in the same school. Will there be another fire or can the students actually tolerate each other?
Shake up my life Lets go... Back to the days when we were young and not restless We still believed and hadn't built our defenses I'll tell you one thing's for sure Till we make the decision We'll never take this world Unless we make a head on collision A head on collision
