Does anyone here actually look forward to recieving their copy of 'Cornish Voice'?
In the latest issue Julia Goldsworthy, our Lib Dem candidate for Hayle, harps on yet again about how the Lib Dems are fighting for lower water charges. Lib Dems have been 'in power' here for as long as I care to remember, yet we still have the highest water rates in the country. Does anyone actually believe in all this rubbish? And, is this the same Julia Goldsworthy whose 'expenses' , amongst other things, included a £1,000 leather rocking chair from up-market furniture store Heal's, which promises to "furnish your home in style". And a £999 television and a sofa bed costing more than £1,100, just days before the cut-off point for claims passed. These were to furnish her London home and Julia Goldsworthy said "I claimed only reasonable costs for furnishings" She should resign, along with all the other morally bankrupt polititions who have milked the system. She's certainly not a 'Cornish Voice' I wish to listen to any more! -------------------- This message is a natural product. The slight variations in speling and grammar enhance it's individual character and appeal. It should not be considered as flaws or defects!

They must think we are stupid.
Cornwall has a massive cash deficit left by the Lib Dem controlled old "County Council". No wonder so many of the old guard resigned and did not stand again. I find it a bit offensive that the "Cornish Voice" lays claim to the St Pirans Flag which so many people feel represents Cornwall. I am not impressed by party politics at a local level. In the next General Election Hayle will be in the NEW "Camborne Pool Redruth Hayle" constituency, and, contrary to what the Lib Dem propaganda "Cornish Voice" claims, the election will be wide open with every party having a good chance of making ground in the new constituency. Vote for whoever you like... Mebyon Kernow, Cons, LIB Dems, Labour, BNP, Monster Raving Loonies.... Dont be put off by anyone claiming "Its a wasted vote" Vote for whoever YOU like and don't be led! Completely agree with the above Graham.
The problem is though that some people are 'stupid' when it comes to election time, and fail to do adequate research before voting. Surely no right minded resident of Cornwall would vote Lib Dem again?? -------------------- This message is a natural product.
