An In-Depth Guide to the Board and What's Going on:

Please read the Rules first before applying!

The name to the site and the school name might somewhat confusing, so here's what is what:

• Mount Horizon, or "Horizon": Name of the School
• Healing Waters: Name of our first site
• Healing Waters, Innocence Exposed or just Innocence Exposed: Name of this site, which follows immediately after the course of the first board
• Agnes: Name of the town nearest to Horizon

Announcements:

This is mainly for admins and mods to post what is going on with the board, and important announcements for members to read. Roll Call is done here every other week or so, which is a list we compile of students/staff who have been inactive. If your name appears on the list, and you're still with us, just reply and you're okay. If it goes unanswered (which it is usually up for a week or so) then the character will be taken off as an active member of the board.

• Breaktime: This is a pinned topic, where you can tell us if you're going to be absent for awhile, or if you are going to be busy and away from the board--so we don't mistake you for inactive and possibly put you on Roll Call.

General Board: Talk about anything you like, out of character (OOC)

• Banners Siggies: This is where you can request a banner for your character(s) (might not get answered right away!)

RPG Discussion: Talk about character plots, place "want-ads" for other characters, sign up for a house (counselors), and check out who's with who...

• Character Storylines: This is where you can post up what's going on with your character and who they're connected to on the board; also reply to others' topics or see what others reply to your's.

Needed At... This is where you let people know where you have an open post, or you can call out to a specific character you need someplace

Counselors: This is only viewable to counselors, you can ask anything here, and we'll help each other out ;)

• (Counselors: Once you get into the role it's really fun to play a counselor in the school and in the town section (yay, an outside life!), but it can be demanding at times--please let me know if you feel swamped, or overworked; you can always take your time posting)

Register Character: Please follow one of the formats and reply here, not in the accepted forum!

Group/Availability: Inside, is a list of the groups at Horizon, see what group your student is in...

Claim Your Avatar: Inside is the Taken Avatars thread, which lists all the actors/actresses/musicians who have been taken for other peoples' characters. There's also a list of suggestions, so you might like to check that out. Also, please reply here with who your avatar is after you register!

Student Files: This is only for the counselors! This is where your files will be moved, and also, where the counselors will add onto their students' files (Not a requirement tho! But sometimes it helps you remember for future meetings~)

Staff Files: You can of course add onto your own files if you want, or just do that in the Character Profiles section, but this is where those who work at Horizon go.

Residents & Other Characters: For characters residing in Agnes, files can be found here.

Journals--For any character, though students especially enjoy having one.
Albums: For all characters, if you'd like one~

Pillows--For students: where other students 'leave a message' at.
Dreams: This is where a character can act out a dream sequence with themselves, or another player, or what not. PG-rated, remember!

Pigeon-Hole--For counselors--their mailboxes

Counselors' Offices: Please find the group you are in, and go down to that group's name, and there will be your counselors' offices :) The main office is where the staff lounge and the spiritual advisor on campus can be found.

• Students: Please realize these aren't real counselors, and us counselors do have other students to attend to! While interaction is definitely great, please don't have all the focus be on your student for large periods of time, "counseling" can get very demanding~

Bulletin Board: This is where you can find announcments on classes, and sign up for which ones you want to attend. It's not required to sign up for any class!

Group Area: This is where to come if your counselor announces a group meeting, which will be in the Needed At section, the Bulletin Board section, or by pm (private message).

Classrooms: Inside are forums to all of the classes that are listed at the Bulletin Board section.

Infirmary: This is where to go if you need medical assistance. Students: The doctors on campus seem to have an overwhelming amount of students visiting them at this time. Please only go here if it's a real emergency, and please be sure to tell the doctors in your post what is wrong (either through OOC or in the character's thoughts).

• Groups: Eating Disorder, Depression, Drug Dependancy and Cutting groups are all inside, for students who suffer those disorders--your file should be in there if such conditions are listed on your applications, but if they aren't, don't worry, it means there just hasn't been a meeting since your arrival~

Boys' and Girls' Cabins: Inside each forum, is a list of all the cabins. Your group name will be there! There's a cabin for each one.

Safe House: This is only for students who are sent here by their counselors, either due to punishment or to keep them from doing harm to themselves after an act of rebelion/self-injury.

All other forums in the Campus Grounds & Mount Horizon sections: Are open to all students, feel free to post anywhere you like! Students, however, CANNOT post in the town section without a release from the school. Please see one of the admins ((your student is supposed to be under the care of the school at all times!))

Town of Agnes: This is where the staff and town people live, to mingle in their outside lives :)

Subforums include restaurants, diners, parks, bars, and just about anything you can think of beloning in an innercity.

St. Agnes Hospital: This is where students are taken who are severely injured. Please look over some of the threads if you are sent there, each student usually plays their own doctor, and states what is wrong, but the counselor decides the next steps on what to do.

Houses & Apartments: Where the residents of Agnes and staff of Horizon live.

Vancouver & Beyond: A larger, somewhat more prominent area than Agnes, Vancouver has all the bustle and flow that would parrell with the high-life of'NYC.
