In this tutorial, you will be able to learn how to make a menu box for your layout.
This menu box couldnt be any easier to make.

1.) Open up a new document, i chose 300x400.

2.) Fill the background with Black.

3.) Now go to Filter>Texturizer>Stained Glass.
Settings:
Cell Size: 50
Border Thickness: 1
Light Intensity: 10

Now you should have something that looks like this:

4.) Erase the white circle in the middle so it looks like this:

5.) Now go to Filter>Artistic>Colored Pencil. You should now have something that looks like this:

This looks pretty good as it is, you can finish it up now, or keep going to get another style.
There is more then 2 styles you can end up using, but these are my 2 favorites.

If you want a grungey/burnt or torn looking menu, do step 6, and NOTstep 7
Once you have step 5 done, do
6.) Filter>Sketch>Torn Edges
Settings:
Image Balance: 2
Smoothness: 12
Contrast: 1

This is a simple burned, cut up looking menu, if you want it to look even more grungy, In step 3, make the background Brown.

If you want an Abstracty Starfield looking menu, other then doing step 6, do step 7.

7.) Filter>Sketch>Waterpaper.
Settings:
Fiber Length: 15
Brightness: 60
Contrast: 80

Congrats! Youve finished making your menu box.
