Surrealism

In my Media Arts class I'm supposed to create 3 surrealist images with photoshop.

First of all:

What is surrealism?

Secondly, I need to think up a theme for the 3 images.

Any suggestions???

Salvador dali. Bascially surrealism is art that is fantasy-like and has a dreamy flow to it. Maybe you'dd recognize the drooping clock one and others of his. You could also search surrealism on goodle and find artists that way. I used to take art class too.

Text can be taken out without a problem. Just wondering, all have to do with fantasy...I'm still not super clear on surrealism.

That is an example. I hate some form of art, including this trippy style the the painter must've done under the influence.

Ok so basically you have to make 4, 6 x 6 inch picures with surrealism. It doesn't have to be too surrealist, the teacher isn't expecting much.

I have to come up with a theme also.

I had an idea which i played off of and my theme came out to something like this:

The mysteries of nature can baffle the human mind.

If you guys can come up with something better i'd love to hear it.

Right now I'm working on my first image. It's a meaddow that I've added lightning to and changed the colour. I need to add something that goes with the human mind.

Also i want to change it if i can to something...easier. I got suggestions like, use plugs instead of flowers growing out of the ground. Well...I don't really know what to do so I need some help.
