[Eddie Brock]

The sun was just starting to fall, the orange and red colors bright in the sky revealing that today was almost at an end. The busy bodies of Gotham had been running all over the place, the Plaza filled with morons who were rude, hateful and annoying. However, one man loved the hate... he loved being bad... it made him happy. Brock, leaned over with his camera in his grip, was snapping shots for his girlfriend, Gwen Stacy. Her father, however, did not like Eddie Brock Jr. and thought he was somewhat of a bad influence on his beautiful, loving daughter. After he had seen her kiss Spider-Man, be escorted into a Jazz Club by Peter Parker, he had nothing but hate for his one true rival.... his one enemy. He got Brock fired from his job with nothing to fall back on until another opportunity come knocking.

"Oh yeah! That's it, beautiful, keep 'em coming!" Brock said, as he had Gwen turning different ways to get different shots. The portfolio she had was full of beautiful, erotic pictures in which he loved and held dear to him. He had plans of marrying her, but that cut short when he remembered she went behind his back for Peter Parker. He kept it quiet, led her to believe that he knew nothing. His girlfriend, manipulated by that wall crawling scumbag amateur photographer. The anger within him wanted to release Venom more than anything while his sane side held the overwhelming feeling back. He couldn't help but think about how Peter Parker humiliated him. The worst day of his life, no doubt. "Gwen, you're.... you're so beautiful. I just wish I... knew the right words." Brock said, lowing his camera to his chest while he looked away.

.... Today was starting off good, but his manipulative and vengeful mind started to kick in. He was about to confront her about her date with Parker behind his back.

Gwen had called Eddie to ask him to come and take pictures of her for her portfolio. She needed new picttires she also wanted to make it up to him for her going out with Peter. If she had known that he was going to use her to get back to MJ then she wouldn't have done anything with that slime ball. Her blonde hair was pulled up into a high pony-tail and she was wearing a skirt that stopped just above her knees and a blouse that hugged her body. She smiled at Eddie as he took pictures of her. She always loved the way he told her she was beautiful, she never really thought she was and here was Eddie, he was willing to do anything for her....and she had wanted to throw that away for Peter Parker.

When he lowered his camera she straightened up and then moved over to him. "Thanks for doing this Eddie. I'm really glad that you can do this for me." She said as she moved towards him and placed a hand on his shoulder as he looked away from him. "I really appreciate this Eddie. I don't know what I'd do with out you." She said as she leaned forward and kissed his cheek softly.

Eddie Brock Jr. watched as his beautiful Gwen moved closer to him and even placed a kiss upon his cheek. He gave a bashful smile, obviously pretending but she didn't know that, and he lowered his head out of embarrassment. He placed a hand upon her shoulder, many people passing by and soon everyone was gone and nothing was around them but the darkness. "No problem, Gwen, baby. Now, one thing... just something I noticed a couple of weeks ago. Why were you going out with Peter behind my back?" Brock asked, his eyes narrowed as if he were angry and about to rip her head off. He had held it in for this long, he had to release it and confront her. He wanted to show her Venom, his other half that he was very attached to. However, he did not.

Putting his camera up, folding his arms across his chest, the leather jacket wrinkling with his placements, he stared at her. His eyes were filled with betrayal, humiliation and best of all... hate. An undying hatred for Peter Parker in which he wants to kill. Peter thought he had finished Brock off that night on the construction site, but little did Peter know, Brock had fell below and was covered in a pile of sand when his foot slipped and he fell below the railing landing in sand. "I just.... want to know what I did wrong. Was it me or... do you just have a thing for my enemy? That's right, Gwen... my enemy!" Brock said, his voice thundering and powerful as he stared her down with much anger building up. The woman he had planned to marry, washed away like a bad dream.

Suddenly, he placed his right hand inside of his jacket, probably giving Gwen the feeling he was about to shoot her when instead he pulled out a diamond ring. Holding it in front of her, one tear streaming down his face, he held it so she could see what she ruined. However, he did not make a sob or even the slightest cry. But the tears were there, he figured she could sense it.

... This just headed for an ugly turn.

Gwen had a feeling that it was coming. She flinched some as Eddie yelled at her, her head lowering to the ground as her hands were clenching one another. Her eyes were closed, she didnt' know what to say, she had actually thought that Eddie was wrong for making it seem that Spider-man was a crimnal. Was that her reasons? She had chose that instead of a man who she was sure loved her and she cared for. She did care about Eddie she knew that now and the knowledge that she has possible lost that now cut into her heart deeply and she slowly opened her eyes as she looked at him, seeing him holding the diamond ring and she let out a soft sigh, her eyes closed again and her head was still lowered.

"Eddie. I understand. I shouldn't have done that. Peter was a jerk, I thought he was different but he was just using me to get to Mary Jane." She sighed and raised her head, her own eyes starting to brim with tears. She grabbed her jeacket and wrapped it tightly around her body. "I would understand if you never want to see me again Eddie." She lowered her head again. "I should not have done that. When I confronted you about what you did to those pictures of Spider-man." She sighed and looked up at him again. "I love you Eddie."

Suddenly, Eddie felt his heart race and after she told him that Peter was using her to get back at his own girlfriend, he was furious. He looked down, his eyes going back and forth with confusion as he took the ring and put it back into his pocket. Looking up at Gwen, he noticed she was crying too. He didn't intend for this to happen... well, he did, but he had to tell her how bad she hurt him. "Wait, so... Peter just used you? Well, I hate Spider-Man! He ruined my life, Gwen! I... I lost my job at the Bugle. Because of Peter and... and his friend." Brock said, clenching both fists as he wanted to just unleash the beast within right then and there but he remained in control and held the urges back. He didn't know whether to hug Gwen or break up with her. His life had been ruined by the both of them.

Narrowing his eyes, he couldn't help but feel sorry for Gwen and that she was used. However, he too felt used thanks to her. They had problems to settle, that was clearly seen here tonight. Walking up to her, he wrapped his arms around her and used his left hand to stroke her silky golden hair gently. "I.. I love you too, Gwen. I just feel betrayed and... humiliated. I just wish things could work out between us, I really do. But... I don't think you'd like what I am holding secret." Brock went on to say, realizing that she didn't know he was Venom. Though, worked for the better either way you look at it. The problems are arising in their relationship, as is with any relationship. That's life.... just not a life Edward Brock Jr. wants to live. He continued to stroke her hair and whisper words into her ears about loving her.

The darkness that once consumed Peter Parker were about to be revealed. He has nothing to hide from his girlfriend... she deserves to know the monster his rival created.

Gwen let her body collapse against Eddie's as her held her clothes, his hand moving over and through her hair as he whispered words into her ear. She knew she had ruined it by doing what she had with Peter, even though nothing had really happened. She had been angry because of what Eddie had tried to do to Spider-man and she hadn't been thinking straight. She slowly lifted up her head, her tears drying slowly, however her eyes were puffy and red now. She hated how she looked after she had cried. She raised a hand and wiped her eyes as she looked at Eddie, her eyes held a questioning look. "What are you talking about Eddie?" She asked as she ran a hand through her hair as she looked at him. Her mascara and eyeliner was running and she would fix her make up after he showed her what he wanted too.

She cupped his face, her eyes staring into his. "Eddie, I don't think anything you can show me will turn me away from you." She said as she leaned forward and kissed his lips softly, begging in her heart that he would kiss back and not turn away disgusted, if he did then it would be all over.

Eddie, having lifted a finger under her eyes to wipe her tears away, knew what time it was. It was time to reveal Venom. Secrets could not be kept for such a long time, especially during an everlasting relationship. After hearing her out, after her words of promise and warmth, he could no longer hide what was within him. He had to release Venom as the symbiote demanded upon it. He felt her lips press against his and he could not help but kiss her back, though, with more passion put into it than all of his other kisses. Just like Peter Parker and Spider-Man, Edward Brock Jr. had a woman he planned on marrying. Her name is Gwen Stacy. Also, which is more so the reason he must reveal the evil within him... not because of her, but because it demanded it.

Pulling away from his love, his life, Eddie started to gag which soon turned into a yell and standing before Gwen was no longer the man of her dreams... but the nemesis of Spider-man and everything that represented the darkness within one's self. The enormous white eyes, the razor sharp teeth, the elongated tongue dripping with a clear green saliva.... all it could think about was destroying the man responsible for its betrayal - Spider-Man. The muscle tone of the former Edward Brock Jr. suddenly enlarged, granting him more of a well defined tone than he could ever dream of. All he could think of while trapped within the darkness is how much better it felt than being a savior, a goody two shoes like Parker and his alter ego. The fame may have went to Parker's head, but the darkness surrounded Brock's and clouded his mind with thoughts of destroying Spider-Man.

The silver spider emblem stood out, along with the gray veins all over him, gleaming into the face of Gwen. Eddie tried to maintain control of his other half, but sometimes, the darkness consumed.... and refused to let its host control it. However, the bond it has, that hatred for Spider-Man they now share, has brought them closer than ever before. "You see, Gwen? We are Venom now! We have the power necessary to defeat Spider-Man! Together, we will rule with an iron fist!" Venom said, speaking in the form of first person, his voice dark. The enlarged white eyes stared directly into Gwen's, realizing that what he has become is what he was destined to be. His hands were up at his face as he was admiring the handy work of the symbiote. Venom could not help but walk closer to Gwen, moving ever so close to its host's one true love. The muscles were definitely enlarged, giving him the power needed to destroy his rival, to humiliate Peter Parker as he did him.

Extending his right hand, the claw-like finger tips reaching out for Gwen, Venom stared at her with a certain lust in his eyes. "Gwen... take my hand. Together, we can destroy Spider-Man! Make him pay! I know his secret... that's right, I know who he is. Take my hand.... let me show you what we can do!" Venom said, giving a very sadistic smile as his hand extended. His palm facing up, he could not help but show Gwen his true powers as Venom. The alien symbiote, bonded together by their shared hatred for the wall crawling worm. Nothing can stand in their way now.

Gwen let herself melt into Eddie's arms as he kissed her back. He had never kissed her like that before, they had always been a little tenative when they kissed like he was worried that she would judge him. She pulled back when he did and she let out a gasp as he started to gag. "Eddie?!" She asked alarmed as she saw his body change. Then before her there was not Eddie there but a creature whose body was black. There was a white spider on his chest and her eyes watched the long tongue as it danced with the green clear liquid on it. She would have gaged at the appearance but she knew that Eddie was somewhere in there. He wanted to show her this for a reason, so that there were no secrets between then anymore probably.

Gwen stared into the large white eyes as its clawed hands raised. He was looking them over, admiring the handiwork. She kept her eyes on him, not really knowing what to do. She heard the words he spoke...Venom. He wanted to get rid of Spider-man, why would he want to do that. She knew Eddie didn't care for Peter but what did he have against Spider-man. That was how he had gotten money before right? The thoughts were pushed out of her mind as she saw him extend a hand to her. Asking her to take his hand, telling her that he knew who Spider-man was and that he wanted to show her what he could do. She hesitated, reaching her hand out when her cell phone rang. She glanced at it and answered.

"Mom.....slow down." She said and then her eyes opened wide as a hand flew to her mouth. "Daddy.....is he alright?" There was a pause and Gwen lowered her head some. She hung up the phone and then placed her hand slowly into Venom/Eddie's hand. "Alright Eddie. I thought Spider-man was good but....my father is wounded because of him." She said as she brought her eyes up to look at him.
