Colorization, Adding color to a black and white photo

Make sure you are using a black & white image for this....when starting out try not to use a picture with a lot of detail. Start off with this picture:

Now I want you to duplicate the picture by clicking Layers>>Duplicate.

After that pick the skin color...I'm using the #563526. Now click on the Change to Targer Brush and set your brush size to 50 and shape circle.

Once you have that done I want you to start to color the skin like you are coloring in a coloring book...It might look like she is alittle redish orange color but thats okay, we are going to fix that.

Now that you are done coloring I want you to click on View>Palettes>>Layer. Where is say "Copy of Background" it will be set to 100, I want you to change that number to 75. Now I want you to merge that image.

Duplicate the image again so we can color the lips. Click on change to target brush again. Change the brush size to 10 but still use the circle shape. The color I'm using for the lips is #ec4493.

The lips will be a bright pink but I want you to click on View>Palettes>>Layer. Where is say "Copy of Background" it will be set to 100, I want you to change that number to 50. Now I want you to merge that image.

Now we are going to work on the eye color. Duplicate the image, also click on change to target brush again. The color I'm using for the eye is #004000.

Click on View>Palettes>>Layer. Where is say "Copy of Background" it will be set to 100, I want you to change that number to 15. Now I want you to merge that image.

We are now finish, you can also do the eye makeup if you want but I'm not going to do that. This is what your image should look like:
