Hello, and welcome to the STAR WARS : Galactic Amnesia. We are a Star Wars Based Roleplaying Site based in an Alternate Universe four thousand years after Darth Revan. Please read the plot to understand the time.

Factions
Factions are meant to be player created. If you are looking to create a faction please contact Aaron or another admin. The factions below are existent from the time line, and are just a base to start off of. There is no real structure to them until players create them.

Unknown Regions
The Unknown Regions, Unknown Space, Unknown Sector, or Unknown Territories is the collective term for all regions of the galaxy not formally charted; it differed from Wild Space in that Wild Space was usually minimally charted, but not fully explored. The Unknown Regions could be broadly defined as areas not connected with the skein of reliable or well-known hyperspace routes spanning the galaxy, did not look to Coruscant as the ultimate center of civilization, or were not under the broad hegemony of the Galactic Republic-but the full reasons behind this lack of contact remain unknown.

The Core Worlds are some of the most prestigious, well-developed, well-known, and heavily populated planets in the galaxy. In astrophysical terms, the Core denoted the central area of the galaxy.

Mid Rim
With fewer natural resources—and therefore a smaller population—than many neighboring regions, the Mid Rim is a territory where residents worked hard for everything they had. Several planets built up impressive economies, and pirate raiders often hid in the relatively unexplored spaces far from major trade routes.

Colonies
The planets of the Colonies were among the first areas outside the Core to be colonized, some before the establishment of the Galactic Republic, and many worlds in the Colonies were founding members. The worlds here are typically heavily populated, industrialized, and had cultures as well established as the Core Worlds.

Expansion Region
The Expansion Region, first known as the Expansion Rim, was located between the Inner Rim Territories and the Mid Rim in the galaxy. The region was an experiment in corporate-controlled worlds first settled during the Galactic Republic's Great Manifest Period beginning in 20,000 BBY.

Inner Rim
It was originally just called "The Rim" when settled 20,100 BBY. It was expected to be the farthest extent of the known Galaxy for centuries, but the Expanded Rim (later renamed the Expansion Region) was opened within a hundred years of the Inner Rim.

Outer Rim
The Outer Rim Territories, simply known as the Outer Rim, are located outside the Mid Rim. The Outer Rim was the last widely settled expanse of the galaxy before the Tingel Arm, Wild Space and the Unknown Regions. It was strewn with obscure worlds, and rugged, primitive frontier planets.

Wild Space
Wild Space is the frontier of galactic society, separating the known parts of the galaxy from the Unknown Regions. The term had varied greatly over the years, encompassing all areas of partially explored or charted areas as known throughout various stages of galactic history.
